Knitter's PrideGinger Deluxe Interchangeable Needles Set

I love this. Quality is amazing. Never need to buy another knitting needle again

The needles were slick and beautiful, and the cords are flexible. The joints were pretty smooth. I finished my knitting projects with my #5 and #6 needles feeling pretty happy about the purchase.Edit: Then I used the #4 and #5 needles for a second project, and this was when the unthinkable happened. One of my #4 needles snapped while knitting. I didn't use a ton of force to knit, so purchasers/knitters beware!I will be calling the manufacturer's phone numbers provided to me by Amazon Technical Support to hopefully get a replacement needle as the set would be less one size. I will update.Just found out that because Amazon wasn't Knitter's Pride's authorized dealer, they will NOT honor warranty. So I will not get a replacement for my lonely #4 needle. So, think hard before purchasing this. Could have spent my money on ChiaoGoo or others instead.Does anyone know how I can get a replacement needle?Edit: I contacted the manufacturer online, and they asked for proof of purchase. I sent them my Amazon receipt, and they did send me a replacement needle, took over 2 months to arrive, but at least my set is now intact. So I have revised my rating from 2 stars to 4.

I always bought individual needles for each project and probably have spent more money than the price of this set already!I had this on my wishlist for about a year and finally decided to buy this.You too will probably end up buying the set anyways... so save yourself time and money and please invest in the interchangable needle set!However, the needles were good quality but my case had a defective "leather" rope/handle. At first I thought it was dried mud and tried to brush it off, but in fact it wasn't and the the rope part came apart. Amazon has refunded the money and I sent it back.(I've ordered Ginger Special Set instead of this Ginger Deluxe Set because I want to be able to knit sleeves of my top down sweater and baby sweaters/hats/scarves and stuff.)

I have been knitting since I was 14yrs old…i have several sets of straight n circular needles….some have cost me over $300 for the set…..trying this brand for the first time n am BLOWN away…the veneer on these needles make them the SMOOTHEST i have ever used…am 65yrs now, slight arthritis in my fingers n this set is like medicine…..the yarn slides so easily with each stitch made….am going to buy a second set as I have multiple projects going n switch between them so as to not get bored…my only question is, is there a set of straight needles with this finish…would purchase said in a NY minute

After knitting only one scarf, the tips of the US17 knitting needles became slightly rough, and the metal coating where the cable attaches was very chipped and flaking off. Amazon only refunded $10 on a very expensive purchase, as the 1 month for returns had already passed. As a beginner, I knit slowly. Reasonable request to refund the cost of replacing only the US17 knitting needles, and not the entire kit. Knitters Pride did not respond to my 3 emails on their website. No number to contact customer service. Very disappointing customer service from both companies.
