Don't buy for Canon G7X
I bought this without checking the dimensions (my bad) and the strap is too thick to fit through the loop on the camera. Can't comment further on how it works with the camera as it's clearly not designed to work with smaller cameras but hopefully this review will stop someone making the same mistake as me!

NOT STRONG ENOUGH
I bought this strap for my Fuji XT30 and it totally failed me. The strap couldn't take the weight of the camera and it snapped from the main joint. The camera to fell smack on the ground. This hand strap is extremely unreliable and its obvious that it hasn't been tested thoroughly.

Similar to the Joby wrist strap
This strap is almost the same as the Joby wrist strap which, sadly, is no longer made. The materials used are a slightly lower quality than Joby, in particular the webbing material that wraps around the wrist is not as soft as the Joby strap. Having said that, this strap is terrific value! Currently using it with a Pen F, not sure if I would trust it with a big DSLR though!

Good replacement for JOBY strap
If you don't like full size camera straps but want something to drop around your wrist in case you fumble your expensive DSLR these are great. I use these on Canon DSLR with battery grips (5D4/5DS) and they are fine. Easier to pack in camera bags; unless you want to impress people with your branded strap these are a better option IMHO.There was a branded JOBY version of this strap, this is clearly a copy but well enough made and work fine. Bargain.

Snapped after 20 Seconds.
After struggling for ages to attach it to the camera (too short on camera lug end) i placed the camera on the sofa, lifted up my arm and...the strap broke. It came away from inside the Y shaped piece of plasticI’m so glad I didn’t try that for the first time out and about over hard ground.Piece of rubbish and I won’t be getting another.
