This book is best for little readers who have read other Fly Guy books. The story presupposes some familiarity with the personalities of Buzz and his pet Fly Guy.It's a story within a story. Buzz has to write a fairy tale for homework. Fly Guy helps by critiquing the story as they go. Naturally Fly Guy envisions all the characters (except the villain) as flies. This is cute and gives rise to funny drawings. And the author finds lots of inventive ways in this book to have Fly Guy say words that sound like buzzing.Prince Fly Guy is not the best book in the series. But it's amusing and well done, as usual. Avid Fly Guy fans should be delighted to add it to their collection. The collection overall is completely charming.

I bought this book for my grandson as a gift. He loves Fly Guy books. My grandson is Autistic, these keep him entertained and he doesnt get frustrated. They have a variety of topics, so u can always find a topic your child will like. They have books for different reading levels as well.

My 5 year old is obsessed with Fly Guy and this is another great one in a series perfect for new readers. It captures their attentions with a great story and allows the newest of reader to participate. It is one of the first books our child picks up at night! Buzz and Fly guy will be a staple in your house too once you child gets their hands on any book in the Series.
