Worked well, easy to install, no leaks, certain will not bust and give me many years of peace. Don't know what problem a lot of people in the reviews were having with leaks. It installs just like attaching the garden hose.

Worked well and good quality

This was an excellent solution. The rubber hoses that arrive with your steam dryer are a danger and must be replaced every two years or so to maintain stability and safety. The braided steel hoses are less likely to burst or become compromised over time. I recommend everyone replace the generic hoses that your dryer ships with. I purchased the Certified Appliance washer hoses from Amazon and was so impressed with them I came back and bought the Steam Dryer Kit.The kit was easy to use and included the short hose, Y adapter, and then the final hose to hookup the dryer. I was impressed with the quality and the value. This same kit would have cost me double at a big home improvement warehouse.

I got this kit for my newly set up washing machine and dryer. Since my dryer has the steam function, it requires another water line from the laundry line. I only need the Y connector, because the Y connect that came with my dryer is plastic, and plastic doesn't last long. So to future proof it, I'm switching to the metal version.I'm not using the stainless steel hose that came with the kit, mainly because it's not meant for HE washer. It's ok if you use it to connect the Y connector to the dryer, but don't use it to connect that to the washing machine if it's a HE washer since normally the new HE machines use bigger diameter hose for better washing.

As design it does not work very well on the Whirlpool Duet because it will leak. I swapped ends and it seems to do just fine. When you receive this you will see metal-to-metal does not work for a leak proof seal. This worked for my application but may it may not work for yours.

Replaced 6 year old rubber hoses that started leaking (they were the original hoses that came with the washer and dryer) with this set, 5 months ago. No leak, no problems so far. Looks to be good quality parts.

This worked great on my new steam dryer. I love how the dryer can now remove static without dryer sheets and removes wrinkles on clothes left in there too long. Why have I never had a steam dryer before this!
