I read many many reviews of ice trays before deciding to buy this one. People mentioned it was hard to get the ice out, but I didn't find it that way. You turn it upside down, do a slight twist and some ice cubes come out, then you push the bottom of the ones that don't come out. Some people complain that it takes time, but it takes hardly any time at all. You don't have to punch the bottom of every cube and even if you do, it still goes really fast. Twisting it didn't really help to get more ice cubes out. There are two things that help with getting the ice out (1) don't overfill the ice cube tray (where the water fills up over the top of the ice); (2) letting the tray sit for a minute or two before removing the ice.I liked the ice container and scoop that comes with it. The container holds up to three trays of ice. I used the lid on the container.I found I could fill the ice cube tray at night and empty it in the morning.Over all I would buy this ice cube tray, container and scoop again.

I recently got a new fridge and as it was a warehouse special it did not come with an ice cube tray or storage container. This ice cube tray set is perfect for what I needed. The tray itself is easily manipulated as it is a combo of silicone and a harder plastic, but not stiff. I do not foresee cracking of the tray due to the material. The lid fits after many uses, with no warping. I dig the size the cubes! The holding tray can fit two full trays of ready made cubes; anymore you can’t fit the lid. I purchased this mainly for use with iced coffee. I’m not an “ice” person per say, but it’s nice to have a bin of small cubes in the freezer!!! The ice is easy to remove from the tray with little effort and this set takes up minimal space. Glad I purchased!

For the most part I love this tray - I got it specifically to make iced coffee cubes and it works great. I love that it came with a scoop and that it doesn’t take up much space in my freezer. The only issue was that it ended up with a small hole in one of the squares, which I didn’t realize until I made my first batch of cubes and it leaked onto the counter. I didn’t return it as I’m honestly kind of lazy and it works fine if I just avoid filling that one square. Not a huge deal but I’m sure others would have returned or exchanged it. Overall, I still love it.

It holds a lot of ice. The ice comes out of the tray easily. It's nice it comes with a little scoop

The ice tray works well and the scoop is nice, but the lid simply won't stay shut without two or three rubber bands. It's a shame because other than that it would be a good product.

I really like these because of the container for the frozen cubes, the included scooper, and the ease of popping them out.I tell my 6 & 7 year old girls it's time to play with out ice cube pop-it to get them excited for a small chore in the kitchen.I highly prefer the silicone to plastic style cube trays that crack when you try to get the cubes out.I found that you can just turn this one upside down on the tray and push them out like buttons, or sit in on the counter for about 5 minutes or so-ish and they just dump out!The whole family uses these and is super happy I got 2 of them!

I don’t know why some people are complaining this is so easy and practical. And the lid is so convenient because you don’t have to worry about the water spilling out once you fill it up and put it back in the freezer. And then once it’s frozen you just pop them out into the container perfect!

We were hoping this item would be us for making ice cubes. The first time I used it, when attempting to get the ice cube tray off of the base container, it not only cracked, but left a good size hole in the ice cube storage container. And it was difficult to remove the ice cubes after they were frozen. Aside from this, it did make ice cubes.
