HON HVL571 Mid-Back Mesh Back Chair for Office or Computer Desk, Black

My low BACK was KILLING me because i was sitting on a cheep-o office chair i hadn't given any thought to. Then i bought 2 of these chairs for my home office and something i NEVER expected happened, my back pain improved instantly! It's not very noticable on the photo (or even on the chair unless you're examining it) but there are 2 little side "wing" cushions that apparently give proper support so you don't sit on your tail bone all day. Between that and the mesh back NOT holding in heat (heat equalling pain for me) then i just dress appropriately for the season and it is perfect!I love this chair, i sit in it most days 12 or more hours. After many months of use i am still loving it.

It was obvious when the container arrived that the packaging was inadequate. When I lifted the package I heard metal clanking on metal. When I removed the various components from the package, two of the coasters and three screws had become loose from their separate packages and were at the bottom of the large container. The most serious damage was that the plastic control knob for the control unit at the bottom of the chair had fractured, making the control unit and chair unusable. My conclusion is that the chair was returned by another customer and had been repackaged and shipped to me. I will return the chair to the nearest COSTCO Warehouse.That said, it appears that the chair itself is well constructed with the possible exception of the plastic control knob. If the chair arrived without damage, I believe it would hold up well over time.

The chair arrived quickly and the packaging was fine. I am very impressed with the build quality. The memory foam seat is very comfortable and the mesh back breathes well. This chair easily out classes the staples and office depot chairs in this price range. This is a chair that could be used in an office setting for years. Highly recommended.**edit**After having this chair for less than a year, the memory foam has stopped rebounding do it is a flat, hard, uncomfortable chair. Not a good office chair if you intend to sit on it regularly. I ended up purchasing a Herman Miller Aeron chair instead.

This is not the cheapest chair you can find but it is super comfy without looking too bulky or ugly. The mesh back and the shape in general look quite slick and fit very well into my small room in NYC. It did take me a while to assemble it but in the end I am really glad that I got this chair because now I really don't want to leave my desk and can study more :D

Love this chair. Reasonably priced. Everything it said it would be. Very comfortable and easy to assemble. Highly recommend because of the mesh backing. Keeps cool.
