Pleasantly surprised! These were a lotttt better than I expected them to be. I bought a pack of 3 red flares for a pro-palest!ne demo in London.At the time I didn't exactly know what to expect tbh, as I hadn't lit flares before - but at the demo, other people's flares were going out within seconds.. whilst mine just went on and on and on... and that's when I realised, damn, these are good! 😅 The smoke billowed out quite a bit and caught the attention of photographers who waded through the crowd and came over to me (which itself is pretty self-explanatory of how well they last)To any flare newbies: these are super easy to use. Just pull the keyring and poof. Sparks come for like the first 2 secs, followed by coloured smoke. It does get a little warm but it's not too hot or dangerous. My hands are quite small as I'm a rather petite girl but the flare wasn't difficult to hold at all.

Fab for parties.. only trouble was 2 out of 3 worked.. the white one didnt work. Would buy again as makes good photo

Great service and product

Pack of three, first worked fine although the amount of smoke was far less than I would expect. Remaining two completely failed to function after having pulled the ring pull. You could hear the initial ignition following the ring pull but then did not emit any smoke.Used for airsoft, wouldn’t recommend.So having had two of the items replaced the new items worked as advertised with a good amount of smoke. Therefore I have increased my review. Clearly I just received a couple of duds.

Did the job work in a very remote location in a dangerous job. Used to show a helicopter lift where we where. Helo could see then 2 miles away.
