I followed the size chart at the top of the item description (right where the drop-down menu for size selection appears). According to that size chart, with 35.5" hips, I should be a size medium. I thought that seemed pretty big, as I usually buy a small in underwear and I wear a size 4 in pants, but I figured sometimes these items are made in countries where the average build is smaller than in the US, which could mean I'd need a bigger size. I just received them (size medium) and they are humongous! There is a separate size chart down lower in the item description; according to this size chart, I should be in a small (or maybe an extra small). I haven't decided which size I'll try; given how big the size medium is, an extra small might actually be correct. The picture shows the size medium underwear with my regular underwear (Jockey size 5) on top, so you can see just how huge these are.

Buy these! Don’t buy the expensive brands! I bought this 3 pack for my daughter, and also got her one pair of thinx btwn for the same price and they were thick and snug. She likes these better because they are true to size and more comfortable (she’s an athlete with a booty). Also bought her the first period kit with 4 pairs of Ruby Love underwear. The kit was a nice surprise for her, but the underwear have a seam across the back that is very noticeable through her clothing and they are extremely thick. I just ordered her another 3 pack (she is 12 yrs old, 5’3” 110 pounds and wears women’s small).

Bought these period panties looking for leaking solutions. I was concerned about sizing. I'm 5'8 340lbs. Carry weight in stomach and butt. I got the 6xl according to my hip measurements. Panties came on time I was so excited. Was still in my cycle. My flow was heavy so I tried with a very thin Alway overnight pad. These panties really do work. No staining. If you wear a pad. Or tampon etc, you can get away with wearing the panty all day.What I don't like. Definitly can't handle Lee. If you tinkle some you get wet. I don't like that. Maybe can wear an incontenance pad if that's a concern.Would love for them to be high waisted. Just preference. But they do cover just under my belly button and the don't roll.Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

I had trouble figuring out which size to order. According to the reviews, everyone says order your normal size. So I did. I ordered a 3x. I can barely get them on. I mean, I got them on, but they aren't going to stay on. I looked like a sausage stuffed in a too small casing. So the 3x is NOT a good fit for me. Luckily, I was able to give them to my daughter, so money wasn't a complete waste. I ordered my size according to the size chart, will wait and see how those fit and then will update. But do not order according to reviews and the description that says "runs true to size." Actually measure yourself and order accordingly. Will update when I get the new order and see how they hold up.

I'm reading through some of these negative reviews, and damn, I feel for you ladies that had problems with it leaking because I'm wearing the "light" absorbency (claims to hold two tampons volume) at the start of my period with nothing else, and I am not a "light" kinda gal. I've had it on all day, and I'm still going strong.For all the ladies saying they're "humongous" or "enormous" ... rude much? I'm sorry they weren't the size you anticipated, but the sizes you received actually do fit other people out there, so by using those terms to describe the panties, you're insulting those people who they do fit. I'm ecstatic their 5X is a legitimate 5X that fits me the way underwear are supposed to fit.I think these are perfect so far. They fit, they're comfortable, they're cute, and they're holding up to my flow. A++ in my book!

I love that they come in such a large size! They are big and for us bigger girls, that's amazing.I use them when on my period as it's normally light however I had a surprise heavy day and because the inside of the underwear is black, I had no idea until I leaked. These underwear don't seem to be as leak proof as my other pair or able to hold as much so I have to change them more often however my other pair is smaller and not as comfortable.This pair of underwear is extremely comfortable and I appreciate the detail that went into making them that way. I do recommend them and plan to buy more.

I've ordered 3 sets of these now.The first set I went by what the size chart said and they were too big but not so big they wouldn't work.I typically wear a size 8 in underwear so I bought the 5x. I liked them enough I decided to just keep the bigger ones for bloated days and bought a 4x the next time. Those did fit better for the most part, but as I wear them they tend to stretch out a bit and the crotch stops having enough coverage which is not good when you're trying to use them as backup so you don't bleed on yourself at work if your cup gets too full, or if you just randomly start bleeding out of nowhere.This time around I ordered them in a 3x and they fit so much better! They don't stretch out too much and are comfortable.All that being said, these are good for backup to a menstrual cup or on REALLY light days. As in spotting kind of days.They are NOT meant for heavy or even medium days. If you bleed very much they can and will leak.They're good for cup slobber and as backup if you're worried your period is about to start. I bleed super irregular and insanely heavy so I wear a pair every day and pair it with a cup when I start bleeding. I definitely recommend them, just don't expect them to be for anything more than slobber backup and spotting.If you have mild incontinence they can be helpful for that as well, but just keep in mind they won't do anything to hide the smell so you might want a backup pair if they get too wet.

My non binary 15 year old is really happy with these. They love the sporty look & fit. This is their first experience with period pants so nothing to compare with but very comfortable to wear. Wearing these instead of a pad is really helping with their dysphoria surrounding periods too. Easy to wash & feel very soft & good quality.

I was assaulted and since then I have had to deal with stress incontinence every time I sneeze, cough, laugh, or startle. As well my bladder will also occasionally leak a little bit at unexpected times, even if I am just sitting on the couch or driving my car. My doctor said that I may have to deal with this problem the rest of my life and it is extremely embarrassing to be a young woman in my 30's and having to wear adult diapers. I tried these and they have been an absolute life saver. They do the trick to contain light leaking throughout the day and my confidence is starting to return. I had found that with other products, options were limited in the plus sizes, but these fit perfectly and look cute too! Sceptical and weary when first wearing them. 1st month - Used as a back up on heavy days with a pad, then without on my lighter days, but only at home. 2nd month - wore them out on my lighter days without a pad. 3rd month - was in isolation, so bit the bullet and wore them without a pad on heavy days too and still no problems. I absolutely love them, so I have just bought more, so can last me throughout my cycle without pads. Have recommended these to so many friends

I would recommend these if you’re looking for something to prevent leaks and be confident during a heavy period. My daughter wears them with a pad and is much more confident of no leaks.

I thought the cotton and the shape of the panties was really nice but once they are on they made me very sweaty and a constant feel of dampness which initially I thought was the leak. But it wasn’t....I am a bit disappointed, now I have read that others have complained about this problem caused by the layer of plastic between the cottons. What a shame they really look lovely
