3.5'' inch Adjustable Stainless Steel Round Exhaust Muffler Tip Removable Silencer Inner Silence

Wasn't sure if this would work It exceeded any expectations

I installed two of these in my Kawasaki Vulcan 900, one in each pipe, combined with a pair of motorcycle silencers (also junk, different review). The genius that owned the bike before me, completely cored (debaffled) the pipes, making them quite loud. Since the pipes were cored, I needed 3.5” silencers to fit the pipes, which meant I had to buy car silencers, and put motorcycle silencers in them. My “composite” mufflers did nothing to quiet the pipes at idle, and now they sound like crap when I rev the bike. The only reason I’m bothering with this, is because NYS passed a Loud Pipes law, which cracks down on cars and bikes with loud pipes. With crime way up, we can all feel safer, thanks to the nanny police in Albany!

Great way to cut down on exhaust drone while you are cruising but still be able to easily open the exhaust back up for performance runs. I get a drone when I cruise at 3200 rpm which is my highway speed unfortunately so I wrapped the middle of this with some exhaust batting wrap and stuffed it into the tailpipe just enough to get the grab screw to catch the lip of the exhaust tip. This was perfect to offer some back pressure and additional resonance to kill the drone at 3200 rpm. Nice and quiet but the exhaust still sounds great.

Honestly it couldve been a 5 star product, what made it a 4 was that my silencer doesnt close all the way and the tips of the silencer werent welded together so it began to split well before arriving to my house.Ill update with pictures when i can.

missing screws had to go buy new screws wich is no biggie but was just unnecessary to go get new ones
