These are so awesome to keep my pups in the back seat. They clip nicely to their harnesses and still give them enough room to move around. I originally thought they were too short, but since they clip to a harness instead of a collar they work out really well. I have a corgi mix who is 10 months old and pretty short who likes to lean half way out the open windows, so these help keep her in the car and still allow her to put her happy head out the window. My other dog is a basengi mix and it works perfectly for him as well. I highly recommend.

I ordered one of these seatbelt leashes when we adopted our "new to us" dog. She is little and I didn't want her roaming all over the car while I was driving; nor did I think she would want to be crated. This works perfectly and she lays down in the passenger seat just fine.

This seatbelt is great. I will say my pup and I had the unfortunate opportunity to see it in action. We were driving down the highway as I live 30 min from my job and I take my Nyx (6mo old German Shepherd pup) to doggy daycare near my job every morning and pick her up when I get off so she is with me all the time. Before getting her I knew a seatbelt for her was a must as I have seen a pup fall out of a car window at a turn (pup was ok thankfully). We were driving down the highway southbound between 70-75 and a truck on the north side lost a wheel and the tire was rolling fast, down the median and hurling towards me, unfortunately by the time I saw it, it was already entering the southbound lanes and my only thoughts were speed up and let it hit my side or try and slow down. I slammed the brake, braced for impact and hoped for the best as I knew I was going to hit it regardless. It hit me head on and destroyed my cars entire front (it's a Cruze so fairly small), the airbags deployed and in a panic I managed to maneuver my car to the shoulder right off an off ramp to try and avoid a pile up and the only thing I could think of doing was getting me and my little pup out. Luckily I suffered some minor brusing and scratches and my pup was ok just very rattled I have no doubt she would've flown to the front or maybe worse had she not been strapped in or even bolted when I tried getting her out (she was terrified.) I'm very thankful that I purchased this seatbelt and if you're on the fence about buying I will say just buy it! It's an incredibly small price for your furbaby's safety!

This fits in my Acura MDX (I have it attached to the middle back seat). I like that you can adjust the length so, depending on where they sit, you can give them more ability to move around. My dog is 20 pounds.My dog still doesn't like car rides, but I prefer this to the dog car hammock because she is more secure. Also, since it clips into the seat belt, I can have someone sitting back there with her. This way, she can sit on people's laps if she wants, while being safely secured in case I need to make a sudden stop. This brings me great piece of mind if I have to bring her in the car with me.MAKE SURE YOU ATTACH TO A HARNESS, NOT A COLLAR! If you stop suddenly, you could end up injuring your dog (or worse).Also fits in Toyota Camry. I put a dog bed in the car with blankets around her (cuz she gets car sick) and she just laid in her bed the whole time. I had piece of mind that she was safe for our long trip knowing she was attached and secure.Very pleased overall!

my daughter has a mini van and I put my guide dog in the back instead of having her ride on my lap. Since she is wearing a harness I hook the lanyard into the harness so if we do have an accident she will not be pulled/ restrained by her throat or neck the harness is leather all about so it should hold up. I am absolutely pleased with my purchase one end is on her and the other end nicely fits into the seat belt holder. so I feel she is safer in the car and we are too. we won't have a dog flying about and hitting into us.

Great product! When you want to avoid the dog carrier 'cause is to small I just to have a dog jumping around the car, but with this product our travels are really great, she can go on the back sit with some freedom and I'm not scare about having and accident for any distractions.Great quality, very well done. Super happy with my purchase.

Very simple, very effective. I have small dogs (doxi mixes) and a full sized car. I have the tethers as short as possible and they are still too long. My dogs are able to jump out of my car, dangle in the harness (I do not use with their collar, as in the event of collision they could break their neck) over the edge of the seat and then somehow wiggle out of their harness. Almost always one escapes while I'm trying to un-hook the other one. These would probably work better with bigger dogs. However, to keep these monsters in place while I'm driving--they are worthwhile (ever drive with a dog in your lap, licking your face and demanding pets?).

It was perfect! I just made the longest road trip of my life and my puggle went with me. This car strap allowed me to put the windows down and drive knowing that she would be able to jump out, and it was strong enough that when I need to stop fast it held her secure in her seat. I am very pleased with this product. I was able to focus on my driving because I was concerned about what she was getting up to in the back. She just laid down on her blanket and watched me or went to sleep. Even when she stood up to look out the window I didn't have to worry because she was safe within her harness and her seat belt. I have never been more relaxed going someplace with my dog, and this was my longest trip by far. Well over 3000 miles!

Perfect. Great range of lengths depending on your animal size and how much give you want to give them. Nice and strong for my 25kg dog. No complaints.

Bought this for my 5 months old puppy. But the clip you use to attach it to harness collar etc is so heavy. This is more for a big dog rather than a small one
