I used to power a battery stick up camera on my garage. Seems like a well built cable and the power plug works great.

Working as it should

I was having issues with the included AC adapter. Despite being plugged in, the battery would still lose charge over time. Ring's website says the barrel plug power specs should be 5 volts at 2.5 amps. The included AC adapter is 5 volt at 1 amp. After swapping out the AC adapter with another one in my collection that is 2.5 amp, the battery charges correctly.

The delivery was fast, and the product worked very well.

I had an external camera that was connectect by an AC power cord. By buying a battery and this cord I was able to tidy up the installation. Make sure to charge the battery before installing it as some have reported slow or inadequate charging time. The camera battery status does show 100 percent charged and connected to a solar panel after a day of being plugged in. The only negative is that the cord is a little fat and diffficult to hide or push into cracks. The power brick could also be more square so that it would more easily fit in an outside outlet protective box.

It came with the US parallel pin power plug, so an adaptor would be required for Australian or AU power points. Other than that it worked just fine.

Saving my time in charging battery

I bought 2 sets of these for my ring stick up cameras, they are very good quality and well made. They came the next day and everything you need is in the box.My battery was 78%on my camera after fitting the adapter and cable it was 100% within 2 hours. I have just ordered 3 more longer cables for my other ring cameras.

Battery stick-up-cam was being used in a very busy area and the battery life was quite short, I’ve purchased this to eliminate the need to charge the battery frequently. Great length (for my needs) and comes with usb plug in the box. It simply works !
