Was just what we needed

this product will not dry properly- very old stock
I used this on a wood composite product and after five days it still was not dry, it felt tacky and soft. I tried to rub it down but the surface came apart, it balled up and came off. I rubbed it off with sandpaper and wire wool and now I am looking for something else to use instead. $30 for varnish that will not dry...NOPE !I checked with the manufacturer and the product number on the can said the product from this supplier was over a year old. it seems that "old masters" do not sell online, so everything is from third party vendors. this vendor seems to be selling some very old stock.
