Yes, you can wear a tie with it. This shirt is made of very soft cotton which makes it comfortable but requires ironing or immediate removal from clothes dryer. I have purchased many of these as my son wears them as part of his school uniform.

Probably, the main issue is the neck...if you have a large neck it mightbe small. Re Lee Uniforms shirts...I was not happy with the quality.....right from the beginning the shirt looked worn and shapeless...I wouldn't buy them again

Q: Whats the length for the XL and the L?

While I am not knowledgeable of the exact length (not near the shirts now) but I am 5ft 11" tall and the XL fitted perfectly in length. However, the sleeves length are very short. It probably could take another 1" or 1 1/2".
