They do there job, for a little while
I have this in my car being used for my stereo system power. The issue I have had is they are not good in a high heat area. Its location is right next to the battery and is exposed to the temp from the engine. During the winter months, I have not experienced any issue, but as the ambient temp rises, these tend to start failing. I took apart one that was not working and discovered the contact had melted and become inefficient in transferring the proper voltage. Being that in this failure state the contacts would still touch, it makes it hard to discover it's not working, it will supply the voltage, but not the amps needed/rated for.If you a looking to use this for the same application I am, you might want to locate it in a cooler area of the vehicle. I could move this closer to my equipment, but then the power wire is not being protected from the source to the fuse.

Not Waterproof, not even water resistant
Do not purchase this unit for marine applications. I did, and regret it. It installed easily and worked well for a few months, but let me down on a recent trip. I installed the unit in my battery compartment where it is generally out of the elements. The boat is always covered when not in use. Despite being relatively sheltered, the unit failed apparently due to water incursion. You can see the rust coming out of the unit in the attached picture. It failed open so I was without lights, radio, and trolling motor, but I guess thats better than failing closed an potentially burning up wiring/devices, or starting a fire. Fortunately, I was able to remove the wires and bypass the breaker so my fishing trip wasn't ruined.I bought this unit because it was cheap and claimed to be waterproof. Don't make the same mistake as me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS FAIL-PRONE BREAKER
I should have read the reviews on Amazon BEFORE purchasing and installing this “thing” in my motorhome solar power system. I learned about them from a YouTube video. I actually have four of these in my system - two 80A’s on my solar controller: panels to controller and controller to batteries, a 150A between the batteries and a 1000w inverter and a 60A between the batteries and generator. The system and these breakers are only a month old. The 80A between the controller and batteries has tripped too many times to count. This line has never come near 80 amps. I was watching the Blue Tooth readout and saw about 55 amps passing through the breaker when I heard the click of the breaker and saw the power drop to ZERO. The 150A breaker has also tripped twice for no understandable reason. That line can’t produce more than 83amps (1000watts at 12volts)I’m replacing these lousy breakers with Cooper Bussman (CB) breakers. Yeah they cost twice the price, but I know from experience that they are dependable. I had CB’s on my travel trailer solar power system for five years and never experienced inadvertent tripping. Wish I had gone with my instincts instead of some guy’s recommendation who I don’t even know. My advice is to stay far away from these breakers.

Perfect for my solar setup.
I wanted a fuse and a shut off switch between my charge controller and my batteries in my solar panel setup. This does the job of both. It's a smaller profile than the bulky shut off switch I had before, so it's attractive as well as functional. I have the ability to quickly interrupt power for maintenance, plus the protection of the fuse for an overload in one smooth working package.

Not as advertised
The 150A breaker will not even handle 120A. Tripped within about 6 seconds. Tried again and it started to fail by partially tripping and then connecting. Unfortunately, the return window is "closed" on this item. Should have tried it sooner I guess. This is a cheaply made, sad excuse for an electrical component. Don't throw your money away.
