Q: Will this work on a slipper sole?

I used it on hand knitted and crocheted slippers. I found it worked better applying it as a squiggly line rather than dots.

Q: How well does it hold up after being washed?

It holds up fine after being washed. I use it on my bicycle jerseys and triathlon tops. Note that I hang to dry, and do not use the dryer.

Q: Is this a smooth rubber? I was thinking of using it to prevent shoulder straps from sliding down. It would be against my skin and get plenty of washin

It applies like glue, so it can be smoothed. The slippers I used it on have been washed several times and the ABS has lasted quite well. As for providing a non-slip surface, I think this would work.

Q: The texture of the product is watery and leaks out of the top of the bottle, even after vigorously shaking. Is this normal or should I return it?

I bought what’s called plasti dip spray! It’s great. Return it because it took a long long time of shaking to get it to come out right. The spray I bought worked out perfect and it’s a little more costly but I’m making many slippers that I crochet and there’s a lot in this product. Hope I helped- I went on YouTube to watch how to spray slippers or socks etc. with the plasti dip and I love it!
