This lower back lumbar support cushion has been a real back saver for me. I use it every day in both the personal vehicle and the work truck. It makes a huge difference on long drives. I have had this for about three years now and it still looks and feels new. Not expensive, durable, and comfortable. Keeps my lower spine in the correct position. I am quite uncomfortable on the days that I forget to transfer it from one vehicle to the next. I should mention that I do not use the elastic strap and I believe it would fail quickly if I did. Although it may slide around a bit and some more expensive alternatives may not; for my money this is the right combination of effectiveness, durability and price.Update 07/09/2017: I purchased in Nov 2014 and it has been used almost everyday since. It is finally showing some signs of wear at the bottom of the cover (2 small holes) still impressed given the low cost.

I picked up a cheap DxRacer seat a while back and quickly found that the...thing...they attempted to call a lumbar pillow was about as effective as resting my lower back against a roll of toilet paper.Enter this back support. The elastic itself is in no way large enough to fit over my chair, and although it's a bit on the large side I had trouble getting it over a regular office chair that I have in another room. You'll have to rig something up yourself or simply rest it there without attaching it, which in my experience has worked fine.It's very comfortable. In a larger than normal chair, and for a larger than normal guy it provides a good amount of back support without digging in. I have no more back pain after extended work or gaming sessions which is about all I can ask of such a product.I did try taking the board out, as some have mentioned, but found that the result was simply too floppy. At that point I might as well put back the original pillow, as it conforms too much to the shape of the chair and I lose the benefit of this pillow's support.

Have been using this for six months or so and it isnt showing any signs of wear. The strap is quite big so goes over my highback chair at work. Touch wood no twinging back for the last six months either.

Great for the price... I simply couldn't justify $100+ for a back support. Anyways, like all the other reviews - the worst part about this back rest is the strap. It's rather flimsy and doesn't fit around a large chair. In terms of support, it's great. Firm and fits the curve of my back. I would not recommend for anyone with a broad back though.
