Rachael Ray Nutrish Big Life Dry Dog Food, Savory Chicken, Barley & Veggies, 40 Pounds

My dog loves it. He was on the hills science diet when I brought him home from the shelter and he didn’t seem to care for it so my neighbor told me to try this and loved it and he lets me know when it’s dinner time and will prance around for it.

I transitioned my elderly, 50+lb dog to Big Life and she hasn’t had any troubles. The k-Cals are decent, serving sizes are good and the food stores well. The price is slightly higher than a previous product, but this is suited better for what my dog needed and it’s been worth the switch.

I have the two biggest picky German Shepherds i’ve ever owned! You wouldn’t think from their sizes; my male is 140 lbs and female is more average, at 70 lbs.They will snub their nose even at real meat (raw or cooked)! I always add toppers to their food (usually a cooked meat) and they dig into this and finish their plates, even my little girl that couldn’t care less about food, unless she’s. Wry hungry (but still won’t eat anything). The value for the money is great, especially with some of the additional offers, like the current, spend $100 and get $30 credit?! Wow!My male has a much more sensitive system and will get diarrhea at the drop of a hat, but doesn’t with this one. I’ve also fed them the nutrish, which they like too, but prefer Big Life. The quality seems great and a tad bit heavier in a cup than the food we used to feed them (Purina One Lamb and Rice; I won’t feed them that again because (regardless of what anyone says, they e changed their formula several times… my dogs will just stop eating it. Their individual pieces of food changed shape and size as well. ).Anyway, I recommend this food… you get a lot of bang for the buck, and our babies love it!

My two retired racing greyhounds love this food and are thriving on it. Their coats are silky and they are energetic. Since they like a little bit of water on their food, I add a little unsalted chicken broth. We have been feeding Nutrish to them for over a year, but started on this one a few months ago. No problems and very happy with the product. Glad it comes in such a big bag too!

With so many brands of dog food out there, it is difficult to find one that is perfect for your pet. I've been using this brand for over a year, and it has not given my dog any stomach issues. I like that it doesn't have potatoes, cranberries, or beets. My dog wasn't a fan of the hard peas, but she has gotten used to them as she's gotten older. The size of the dog food pieces is good for a big dog. My only complaint is that I wish we could find the 40 lb bag in the stores easier which is why I am forced to purchase it on Amazon. I either have to settle for the 28 lb bag in the store or go through Amazon.

Let me just say this, my dog, Bullet, and American bandogge mastiff, has been my spoiled brat since he was born (unalive) CPR for 12 minutes, gave him life again, carried him in my bra for 6 weeks, bottle fed him til he could eat food, always gave him maximum bully food(very expensive, then was feeding him a whole boiled chicken and rice and 3lbs of hot dogs a day, we have done that for 11 years now, he's 150lbs, recently decided he didn't want to eat at all...I tried several things, no go... I did real the ingredients and reviews on this food , I decided to give it a whirl, besides money what else did I have to lose, bullet wasn't eating anyways, I thought maybe it was because he wasn't feeling well or a toothache....but once this arrived I cut the top of the bag off and rolled it down and sat it in his food corner(he eats straight from the bag whenever he wants to eat, he has no schedule, he is VERY VERY PICKY AND SPOILED, he walked over and sniffed it for literally like 2 minutes...and walked away, hmmmm I walked away and peeked around the corner and wouldn't you know he was shoulder deep into the bag eating it like crazy!!! THIS HUGE BAG WAS GONE IN A FEW DAYS!!! IM DEFINITELY ORDERING AGAIN RIGHT NOW!!! IT SMELLS GOOD, ITS FRESH TOO...all the soft.pieces are really soft, not hard and gritty like they been sitting on the shelf in storage for 10-12 months....VERY GOOD FOOD!!!

As my my four legged kids are children to me I make it my goal to give them the greatest life they can possibly experience while they share in this experience we all are a part of and after much research on their food and much volunteer work in and around dog pounds and the such I have 4 that have been a big part of my family for a little over a decade now and even though this is not the most healthiest brand available it is in the top 10 but it is one that all my 4 different breeds of kids agree is the greatest tasting that they love to gobble up!But so what I do is order a bag of wellness brand top rated healthy food "which I can see in there energy and shiny coats" and mix it with a bag of this Rachel big life not the other Rachel brands make sure its the big life and I will believe you will have happy babies that will live the longest life possible with of course your attention of love and gratitude and exercise every day..Blessings to all who read this and may your beautiful lives be filled with joyful abundance for you and your furbabies 🐶🥰
