These work, just don't look inside of them...
As someone with pretty bad arachnophobia I use these a lot. And they work very well. Place them in dark corners, under the bed, in a closet, or anywhere else you might see a little creature. Do not make the same mistake I did though...do not look inside of the trap after it's been out for awhile. Instant nightmarish imagery....yikes! I replace every 6 months or so. Very happy with them.

Did Not Work for several weeks, then I was finding roaches on every trap.
Put out 10 traps and did not catch anything. My cats would find the roaches and I would kill them.I Do not recommend these, total waste of money.

Very sticky!
These are easy to put together and really attracts bugs, spiders & such. I like that it's safe around pets because one of my dogs found one and started tearing it apart.

These work
So we have roaches in the garage that are absolutely disgusting. Before I go any further, the roaches are from the sewer that is just a few feet from the garage. Totally appalling but before I go on, I want to emphasize we aren’t gross and they aren’t upon us because of dirty food or cleaning habits. The roaches don’t get inside but they loiter near the garbage cans and had frequently frightened us when they skitter across unexpectedly. So we got these, placed them in the garage. They’re really easy to use, it’s an easy to assemble box with a sticky pad where you place a sugar tab bait in the middle. I know they work because when we went to dump the boxes… there were like 30 roaches in each box. The traps only catch the roaches, they don’t kill them which made us feel sort of bad because when you look in the box you can see that they are still alive :( anyway, just put on gloves and dump them. These are effective traps if you are unfortunate enough to need them.-I edited this review bc I guess if you call roaches by their full name, Amazon will hide your review bc the languageLol…

Bait?
I live in Florida, so the sample size for this study is essentially infinite. The stickum seems to work okay. The problem is the bait; my roaches are not attracted to it. The effectiveness of the trap could probably be enhanced immeasurably by substituting your own bait. If I find one, I will update this report.
