Looks nicer than expected
I purchased a roll of this to cover up an old, stained, and otherwise generally ugly bathroom counter in a rental I live in. Not only does it look better than the original counter--not a difficult record to break by any means--it actually looks pretty good on its own. I'm not going to go as far as to say that it looks like real marble (it is a sheet of glossy vinyl), but it might from a distance and still looks pretty good up close. To get the best look, you'll obviously need to be careful during application. I did it alone, but I think it would be easier with someone helping you. If you have a sink or other obstruction in the way, I'd also suggest measuring that out beforehand to make application easier (maybe cut out a hole for at least the faucet--cut too little rather than too much, since you can always take more away but you'll have a hard time making it look as nice if you need to add more material back). There were no application instructions with my product, but I looked at the instructions for similar products online and went from there. I still have a few bubbles in mine, but they're very small and don't bother me at all. If I had someone helping me, I think we may have been able to get them all out at the time of application.I initially smelled a nail-polish-like odor coming from the roll. I do not smell this after the product is applied, so maybe it's just on the backing paper or the foam roll the paper is wrapped around (or it just dissipates quickly). I did notice that when the roll is unrolled and flattened, it does develop some kinks because it seems to want to stay curled. These disappear when you remove the paper backing (that's what the problem seems to be--the paper doesn't stretch out to accommodate the vinyl as it flattens or something) and shouldn't be permanent as long as the vinyl doesn't get pinched or folded (which I did accidentally do to a small section on the roll that I didn't end up using). My biggest concern is how well it will remove when I need to take it off. It was easily movable/removeable at the time of installation, but I imagine it gets harder to remove over time, so I'm curious how it will perform after a year or two. For similar products, they say a heat gun or at least hair dryer might help loosen the adhesive and make removal easier, so I'll keep that in mind when I need to take it off. I'll update this review then, but I hope it's a couple years or so before I need to worry about that. Assuming that part works as expected, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a (hopefully) temporary way to make ugly counters look better.UPDATE: I did remove these after not that long because apparently my landlord agreed that my counters were, in fact, bad and wanted to replace them. They left some sticky residue, which I didn't care about because they were being demolished anyway. I did not use a heat gun, which might have helped. I did try acetone (nail polish remover) after the fact, and it did not help much, but maybe it would have if I let it soak longer. In any case, I didn't have much of a reason to care, and these will definitely be fine if you plan on making it a more or less permanent installation, though they'd probably be fine if you have some extra time to spend on removal if you need to do that.

Not the best
From a distance my bathroom countertop looks awesome, but up close there are some problems. I did not realize when I started applying it, but everywhere there was a “crease” when I unrolled the vinyl film, was in reality a place where the shiny plastic top layer has separated from the paper bottom. I thought the picture was actually printed onto vinyl, but apparently not so, because when I tried to rub out what I thought was a bubble between vinyl film and bottom surface it just made the problem worse as more plastic separated from the paper underneath.I soldiered on with this project, and believe it or not this DID superficially improve the appearance of an almost 50 year old apartment countertop that has been painted over multiple times—at least there is no more peeling paint.I would recommend buying a higher priced, higher quality product for anybody looking to redo countertops! For surfaces with no curves or corners this might work, though.

Not simple. But beautiful
I have mixed emotions about this product. Overall I am relatively happy with the end result. The application process is quite difficult and definitely requires more than 1 person.

I ruined pretty much a whole roll trying to do it by ...
The description states crease and bubble free, I had difficulty keeping both of those out while applying. I ruined pretty much a whole roll trying to do it by myself. It is impossible. 1 roll was yellow compared to the other two but used pieces from that roll to go behind the oven and sink. Definitely a two person job but the turn out was great! I attached a before and after for people interested in the product.

It tears easily
I like the look and of course the price. It is definitely a 2 person job. It does tear easily so be careful, and jus take your time. I am very pleased. It was my first time doing this and I did it all by myself. Now I am going to do my kitchen!

Worth the money spent very happy
I used this on an old pottery barn desk and it looks great. It really added that much needed edge to my room. Its thick, the adhesive is 100% and looks like real granite. Im not sure how this would get a bad review it was exactly what i was expecting it to be nothing less nothing more.Update: its been 3 months and so far everything is holding well, easy to clean, however i do not leave my straightener directly on the paper as i dont believe it is heat resistant... incase you decide to put this down in your bathtoom.

I have never hated anything so much in my life
I have never hated anything so much in my life. It may be easy on a small item but trying to use a large piece was literal torture. It crinkles and sticks and bends and the static is unreal. I was so frustrated. I gave it 3 Stars because I don't know if the product was crappy or if I was just stupid but I tried for an hour before I decided my cabinets were fine the way they were

Easy to clean, I put this on my makeup table and everything comes off nicely but I folded it over the edges of my table and they won’t stick but I’m sure supper glue would work

Good but shorter than sizes indicated!
This product was great in every way the only reason I am not giving it a full 5 stars is because it is way shorter than the size I ordered although labeled with the correct sizes ad the correct size. It’s a slight disappointment because with this kind of stuff you want a seamless finish!

Poor quality
If you are looking into renovating your benchtops or drawers with this one, it’s absolute waste of money. Material is so thin almost like a gift wrapping paper. It even feels like a coloured adhesive tape. So thin you would see the stains that you are trying to conceal. Lol. Nothing like the DC fix. You will get what you paid for.
