Good plug
These work well for typical automotive thickness sheet metal. I used them after drilling a hole in the car doors for spraying rustproofing. I had a hard time getting them to seat in the hole in 32 deg weather. I tried pushing on the center of the plug with a dowel rod without success. The trick is to push the outer flange with a smooth rounded object- like the handle of a large screwdriver. Work around the entire flange to seat the plug. Don't forget to paint or apply rustproofing compound to the edge of the hole before putting in the plug!
