I was slightly dubious about this microphone due to the low cost and the fact that there is a new updated version of it (the MM1+) but all the same I decided to try it out and I have to say I haven't been disappointed! My audio quality has been increased by 110% and I really can't understand why I put up with the built in camera mics all these years!To describe how it sounds is very difficult, but I can say that the bass sounds are very pronounced which I think makes it sound much higher quality, I find it excellent for doing static video reviews with the mic mounted backwards (facing me), it cuts out all the annoying background noises like computer fans and picks me up very well, and I also get plenty of sound from anything behind it (The subject of the video in my case). The gain is very loud so you really don't have to use your camera preamps, and I can hear literally no noise/hum with my Sony AX43.The only cons I can really think of is the bracket which does the job just fine but if you're doing any serious movement (running along the street or something) the shock mount seems to 'max out' and you hear a bumping noise. Also if you overwhelm the mic by being extremely loud (or having it right next to your face) the audio doesn't really distort, it just cuts out completely.Having said this I can strongly recommend that you pick this up, having messed around with a lot of audio gear in my time (including fancy Sennheiser wireless gear) I can say this has really blown me away!

The clip of this microphone is the cheapest thing out there. Being in a cold climate, I would advise waiting until the product has heated up before trying to put the microphone on. Even then, it's a flimsy piece of plastic well under the construction standard of the microphone itself. I will update this once I hear back from their support team.Update: They told me to buy a new mount. Pretty unfair as I've followed the instructions and it just broke on arrival. If they made a good mount that thing would be a 10/10. I will be returning it as they couldn't help me.

It works well, especially if you have a gimbal you're attaching the camera to because this is so small. I had to custom-cut and make the holder clip shorter so the gimbal would clear the mic when I tilt it. The audio quality is decent once cleaned up using software for noise, but it isn't as great as some of the more expensive and better quality mics. THAT BEING SIAD, for the price, and as an entry-level mic, this works fantastic. The fact that it's stereo and doesn't need batteries is a huge plus.

Ottimo per l'utilizzo direzionale. Provato in poche occasioni, evidenzia una direzionalità pronunciata e quindi molto adatto alle registrazioni di una persona anche se in ambiente rumoroso, garantisce la voce dell'intervistato e attenua di molto i rumori circostanti. La copertura gatto morto è efficiente ma mi sembra di qualità basica. Prezzo buono per le caratteristiche.
