Cute
This was fairly cute. The story was very simple, and really, not all that much happened in this volume. It's an interesting concept, but so far I don't see much being done with it. Basically the whole volume was him being super in love with with her and making star eyes at her while she unnecessarily angsted about how she was so old for him that she shouldn't be with him, even when he very, very obviously didn't care about the age thing. I don't know if I'll continue with it because I don't really want to read about her obsessing about what other people think about their age difference or trying to push him away for his own good, and this first volume didn't really show me that there would be any more than that to the story. Also, as far as the physical book, it was smaller than most manga (by a little bit) and didn't seem as well made (mine came with the spine slanted, like you might see from a book that's been wedged tightly into a shelf for too long).

An endearing tale of romance and reincarnation
The title might be unwieldy, but the story itself is a sweet one about reincarnation hitting a snag. Yuko was once a princess loved by her knight Harold but social constraints prevented a relationship. Now reincarnated as an office lady who is pushing 40, she is stunned when Harold (or Haru) recognizes her and wants the romance denied them centuries earlier. The problem is that he is a 17-year old high school student. The two are taking tentative steps in a relationship with Yuko displaying an endearing awkwardness. There is one chapter that looks at what they were like in their earlier lives and it makes for an interesting contrast compared to their present-day selves. We Swore to Meet in the Next Life... gets off to a good start and I will look forward to seeing how this story develops.

really cute, and endearing
Character designs are cute, story is cute, and it's quite endearing despite it's subject matter. Don't get me wrong, this series definitely comes off as for adult women to fantasize about the perfect young man to love them, that's just kind of expected from the description alone.I think a lot of people, myself included, who don't fall under that market can find enjoyment in this. It helps that the story is self aware enough to acknowledge the age difference and all, and even uses it to make the series more endearing with Princess struggling with how people around her view them.A solid read, the only issues I have are that I wish the chapters were longer, and I would like if the volume was larger, because if it didn't stand out in terms of color as well as it does, I don't think I could find it on my shelf

So much to come...♡
I love this manga so much. I first stumbled across it at Books A Million, and knew I just had to have it.And, I am really glad I did. It is so lovely. They really did a good job on it so far. I love the romance of them wanting to be together, but being torn by the society norms. The age gap is a bit, but I definitely see so much potential in volumes to come.
