Impressive Bluetooth Headphones
Firstly, the headphones are nicely presented in retail packaging. Inside the box is a hard storage case, inside the case is the headset, a USB to Micro USB charging cable, a double ended 3.5mm AUX cable (for connecting directly to an audio device that doesn't have Bluetooth), a handy Airplane adapter and a warranty card, there is also a small but chunky User Manual, however only the first 10 pages are in English, but the information provided is sufficient. The headphones are fairly lightweight, this can be attributed to the fact that they are predominantly manufactured from glossy plastic, except for the headband which is made from flexible steel, they look modern in design and feel relatively sturdy and well made. The oval ear cups are quite large and comfortably cup the ears, they measure approx. 10cm long x 8.2cm wide, they are not fixed but hinged, they can also be rotated and placed flat against the chest when worn around the neck. Each ear cup is made from dense foam and covered in soft faux leather, I found them to be very comfortable, even after prolonged periods of use. The headset is a good size and suitable for most head sizes, the headband can be adjusted by sliding the ear cups down, each side has approx 2.8cm of travel, which is reasonable. The headphones were fully charged right out of the box, there is a battery indicator displayed on my iPhone which displays the current level of charge. They were very easy to pair with my iPhone, simply turn them on, hold down the power but until the tiny led flashes quickly and select device Mixcder E9 in your Bluetooth settings, there are audible voice prompts to confirm when pairing and connected. Most of the controls are found on the right headphone, which includes; chunky power and volume buttons, the Active Noice Cancelling on/off switch is located on the left earphone. All the controls are easy to access and simple to use.I listened to music on the Spotify & Amazon Music apps via my iPhone 7. I thought the sound quality was very impressive, the sound has a certain warmth to it, and the bass is punchy enough to satisfy most tastes. The sound clarity is also very good, it was easy to pick out individual sounds and instruments. I listened to various genres, and the headset continued to impress me. A selling feature of these headphones is the Active Noice Cancelling (ANC) function, there is a switch to turn it on and off, by default it is set to the off position, but when switched on I thought that the sound quality improved, it somehow sounded less muffled and much crisper. While listening to music through the headphones I sat next to a pair of external speakers playing a different song on full volume, and I could not hear any invasive sounds what so ever. If someone tries to talk to you while wearing these headphones, you won't hear a word that they are saying!Overall, these headphones sound great, I can't find fault the way they look, or the sound that they project - thumbs up from me.

Impressive headphones - superb sound quality and good noise cancellation
Set out to purchase the best active noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones for under $100 and chose the Mixcder E9. While I am an early adopter, based my decision on the good reputation of the Mixcder E8 which was an earlier model and anticipated the E9 would be even better.BLUETOOTH AND ANC - Upon receiving the E9 headphones, I was surprised that the Bluetooth and active noise cancellation (ANC) are entirely separate systems, with on/off switches for each system. If both Bluetooth and ANC are being used together the manual states 24 hours of combined use, or 30 hours use if using Bluetooth only. Either way, the battery life is outstanding. Under most situations, the music through the headphones sounds better if ANC is turned on, even in quiet environments.SOUND QUALITY - The sound quality is great in my opinion, especially with ANC turned on. The bass, mid-range and highs are all very good - I’m quite impressed. Sound quality is great at all volume levels.ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION - The E9’s active noise cancellation is quite good but not perfect. I tested the Bose QC35 and Sony WH1000XM3 in a Best Buy store for comparison. My perception is the E9 performance is similar to the Bose QC35. However, the Sony WH1000XM3 from what I read and experienced is the current king of Bluetooth noise cancelling headphones, but at a very high cost – both the Bose and Sony headphones cost 5 times more than the E9. Therefore, the Mixcder E9 is the price winner hands-down. From doing a variety of (non-scientific) tests, I’d say that the E9’s noise cancellation reduces perceived fan and motor noise by about 80%. In comparison, the Sony’s reduce noise by about 90% according to my perception. I believe the E9's are quite adequate. Also, the E9's noise cancellation is clean - no hiss at all.BLUETOOTH RANGE - The Bluetooth range is impressive. When paired with my laptop, I could walk around my entire multi-story home and listen to music through the headphones with perfect sound quality. In my test, the range is over 50 feet! Not sure if this was due to the laptop, the headphones or both.COMFORT - The ear pads and head support are made of very soft material. Comfort is quite good. My head and ears are of about average size. The headphones are adjustable for different size heads, but I find them a tiny bit tighter than I would prefer, but they may loosen slightly over time, which would make them perfect if this occurs (so I hope they loosen slightly). If I adjust the speakers just right, my ears fit inside meaning that the headphones do not press on my ears, which adds to comfort. I have worn them for 4 hours straight and they warm only minimally, which is good.COMPATABILITY WITH GLASSES - The headphones work well both with and without wearing glasses. The ear pad material is so soft that it easily molds around the arms of glasses.MANUAL - The included manual is quite well written. If you find this review helpful, give it a thumbs up!

Great headphone with effective noise cancellation
The headphone come in a nice strong storage box. This is very useful as I don’t have to worry about keeping it clean or prevent it from damage. It’s also big enough to hold all the cables and adapters. The headphone is well build and looks very smart. You can also fold the ear pieces inward making it very compact for travel storage which is great. The ear pads are very comfortable and I have comfortably used it to watch a film with no problem. I also didn’t come across any lip sync issue with watching a film via Bluetooth. I had this problem with my previous headphone. The noise cancellation is very good and effective. Turning on noise cancellation (ANC) and I noticed that it blocked out the computer fan noise. I have also tried it in the kitchen and it significantly reduced the noise of the extractor fan. It does a good job at blocking out low frequency noise. Adding music with ANC on will mean you won’t hear much surrounding noise. You can also use ANC even without music.Overall sound quality is excellent. The music is so much clearer when using this headphoneBluetooth connection worked with no problem and it charged in about 2 hours. It also hold its charge very well. I have not used it for a while and it still works without having to charge it first.Overall this is a really nice headphone that is comfortable, has effective noise cancellation, long battery life, good for travel use and is well price. I am impressed with it and would definitely recommend.Update: I have now used this headphone on a plane and the noise cancellation worked really well by reducing the humming sound. I tested it without music on and there was a big difference between when the noise cancellation was on and when it was off. Still very please with this purchase.
