I'm not an esthetician, but to cover hair for a treatment I think it's ok.

It’s larger than the average size; ie., larger than the picture shown. I like the larger size because my hair is long, and it’s easier to get all the hair inside with no struggle.

Q: Can I use these to cover my hair in the tanning bed

Do you normally use plastic caps in the tanning bed? They are regular plastic shower caps used to keep hair dry or for dye etc. If you wear these types of caps generally in the tanning bed then I’d I’d say you should be ok. Hope this helps.
