Pro Shot Products No.8-32 Male Threads to No.10/32 Female Thread Adaptor, Brass

I believe this little, unassuming part is literally – LITERALLY – the only #10-32 to #8-32 converter you can buy online in the world with expedited shipping. Truly, I defy you to even find a second part comparable to it here on Amazon – please find me one, I beg of you! As of last night, 4 am, I'm officially an expert in all things screw length – both Metric and US (which, by the way, don't play well in the sandbox together AT ALL) – as well as thread counts. All because the finial on top of my stupid paper towel holder got lost in a recent move, and I cannot find anywhere online (again, please guide me if there is!) that sells knobs or finials that are #10-32 in diameter – they're all #8-32, if not some other incompatible metric size, like M4 or M6. Don't even get me started on lamp finial sizes – suffice it to say, they won't work either. If there are indeed #10-32 knobs out there, they certainly don't indicate that fact anywhere in their descriptions or anywhere else where basic SEO would pick it up as a keyword in an intrawebs search. So, out of principle, I'm paying more to mod my dumb, 12-year-old OXO paper towel holder that I probably used a 20% off Bed Bath & Beyond coupon to buy, in order to get a new knob for it, than I would pay for a brand new upgraded unit, due to foolish pride. I needed to see for myself if after all my research, dedication, and deduction, this little adapter would be the puzzle piece – nay, the MISSING LINK I needed to solve my dilemma. And good gracious, goodness me – shut the front door, it was! I found my white whale – my holy grail of hardware. And I am absolutely delighted because now I have a whole world-wide-web of decorative knobs to choose from. I'm sorry if this 5-star review sounds a little grouchy – I really am overjoyed with the outcome. I am just woefully overtired from my late night of screw research and wanted to make it clear to the masses that although I'm pretty positive this was not the original intent of this lone small part found only in the deep, dark recesses of Amazon under the "Black Powder Cleaning Supplies" heading, there is hope for you yet if you lose your paper towel holder knob!

Fits on my muzzle loader ramrod.

1/2 " in length. Used with their loading jag which is also 1/2 inch it fit perfectly even to muzzle on Thompson Center arms ramrod sold by Track of the Wolf (27 1/4 max length)

The ram rod of my flintlock was made of wood, and kept getting stuck in the holder. I got this and a spare ram rod tip to turn my cleaning rod into a ram rod that I don't have to worry about breaking.

Great for muzzleloading ramrods if you need to add from small to larger threads.

Not much else to say

The Allen bolt is to short to go into my cleaning rod I will have to purchase at some point a cleaning rod too make this work.

Screws in easily and allows me to use .50 caliber accessories with my .22-.26 caliber rod. Perfect.

This was a handy product it allowed me to use all cleaning tools on my pro shot rifle cleaning rod
