Flowmaster8042543 40 Series Chambered Muffler

Installed this on my 07 F150 with the 5.4 v8, had to have a small section of 2.5 inch pipe welded in since this muffler is smaller than the stock muffler.Sounded pretty quiet at first but it's gotten louder over the past few weeks. It's not too loud that it will disturb your neighbors and make you the jackass of the neighbourhood, but it's loud enough that you can actually hear your engine when you step on it. Which is exactly what I wanted. Not annoying when you're cruising on the highway either.YouTube if you want to hear what it sounds like. Won't make your truck sound like a ferrari but will help it sound more like a truck.

I had a set of straight thru mufflers on my 2014 6.4L SRT Challenger and really didn't care for the sound, had the Flowmaster 40 series installed and just love the new sound, plus, I picked up more bottom end torque, you can't go wrong with Flowmaster!!

My Dad has a "new" 2007 Ford F-150. My siblings & I ordered this for him for his 74th birthday (March 1, 2016), my brother-in-law put it on and it sounds AMAZING!! Not ridiculously obnoxious but tastefully loud!! We LOVE it!!
