AGS - PAC-325 Poly-Armour PVF Steel Brake Line Tubing Coil, 3/16 x 25'

The magnesium chloride the state DOT uses on the roads now eats metal very quickly, the first thing to go are brake lines and metal fuel lines. Luckily my brake line blew when I was testing the brakes in the driveway by pressing as hard as could on them. Replaced with this tubing and all is well.

Don’t have a lot experience with brake lines but I used the ags steel pvf sticks for the passenger side of the wife’s car before realizing the rest of the brake lines were rusting out too. I got this thinking it’ll be a good idea. I did the flares myself and everything is holding good. The downside to the steel line is that it’s not very easy to work with in the coil form. Sticks of it are relatively easy. But when you have a piece that is 10 feet long and you need to bend it 90 degrees... good luck. I wish I went with the nickel copper line because I hear it is much more flexible which is what I needed. If your car has straight runs and easy to see areas then this’ll work fine. Product flared easily, hard to kink, and is workable so long as you can reach and flex it.
