Q: Looking for a shimmer shadow in a taupe/gray? Which color choice is best?

The closest color they have in a shimmer would be their platinum shade. It's not a true taupe but more metal look.

I don't know. Check Amazon or the LB website for a color chart. The products are excellent and worth the extra time and effort .

I don't know that, but I really disliked this brand of eyeshadow. Sticky and made my eyes burn. Went back to Revlon cream color pots. Think they have cappuccino colors.

Q: What do you suggest for mature skin, hooded hazel eyes, and oily lids? I prefer neutral shades but would enjoy a brighter, lighter color on my lids.

Brown shades work well with hazel eyes, so a light tan may be a good choice if you prefer a more delicate look. This shadow comes in a creme which may crease on oily skin. You may want to consider a powder form applied to a base.
