Shoei CNS-1 Pinlock-Ready Face Shield

I have a Shoei GT AirII and this was the Shoei replacement part. Came in a bag stating just that.And Yes it was a CNS-1 which is the exact model to fit my helmet.Even though the photo provided on the Amazon site seems not to be and exact match it is just that if you are looking for the CNS-1 type visor.Hope this information helps anyone that may come across this model and needs to confirm it it's a CNS-1 model.

I had a violent highside crash that put me in the hospital less than 48 hours after I put this new visor on my GT-Air. (Mid-day commuting, surface street, driver pulled out in front of me) My original visor had a lot of minor scratches and chips from regular use. I bought a fresh one for better night time clarity. The CNS-1 was deeply gouged as my unconscious body slammed into the asphalt (according to witnesses, I don't remember it). It also popped off the helmet at some point. Regardless, I had no head injuries aside from a minor concussion that I will make a full recovery from. The CNS-1 shield did its job, keeping my eyes and face away from the road and debris on impact. The GT-Air was badly damaged, but again, it worked as designed. I have personally thanked local Shoei execs and would recommend Shoei helmets to anyone and everyone who rides.Also, with regards to the shield, it's the original shield that is included with the GT-Air. Great clarity, Pinlock works great as preventing fog, however there is some light refraction at night (the fine print says to never ride at night with Pinlock). IMO it's fine for night use, however.

Got the visor and installed it on my Shoei Neotec CNS-1 first generation helmet. Delivery came a day sooner, obviously a good thing. The picture in the description for this product will confuse you. This is the direct factory replacement visor for the CNS-1. It has the pinlock feature so if you already have a pinlock shield, you can reuse and add to your new visor without any issues. No scratches, no flaws an awesome OEM product. Highly recommended.

I love a company that sells replacement parts and supports it’s products. Kinda pricey however it’s key for the helmet. Went together perfectly and I’m a happy rider.

I like my shoei gt air but what I hate about this particular lens is that it gets scratch so easily, not like my other AGV corsa helmet, I have yet to replace any of the 2 different colors I got but my gt air I think this is my 4-5 shield.
