I purchased this shower-head in February of this year (2017) online after seeing a similar one in BB&B. I didn't get it to provide lighting in the shower, but because the colored LED lights made it easier to transition my son from taking baths to taking showers. After having it for almost 2 months, I've actually grown to enjoy it very much myself, because the lights indicate water temperature (maybe this is obvious to everyone who bought this, but I purchased this LED shower-head because it was stainless steel, and most of the other LED shower heads found on my search were either plastic, had only the hand-held piece without the hose, or a combination of the two).I've had way too many experiences of getting in the shower when the water was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Now, after turning the shower on, I wait until the lights turn green, and I know it's a comfortable temperature range. Attached pictures 1-3: cold, warm and hot temperatures indicated; 4 & 5: my previous $80 Moen shower head, that's virtually identical.Technical Details:Included in package:(1) shower-head;(1) 60 in metal hose;(1) adjustable overhead bracket for holding shower-head;(1) mesh strainer (to keep stuff from clogging the head); appropriate number of washers needed (I believe 4, but not positive— there were the number needed though);(1) small spool of silicone pipe thread tape and(1) set of instructions that were easy to follow.Head Diameter: 4 in.Hose length: 60 in., or 5 ft.Water Settings: 5 total; 4 separate water spray patterns and 1 pause or off setting (although the water drips a little bit)Fitting Size: 1/2 in NPT, or standard-size shower fitting, no adapters neededMaterial: stainless-steel, shinyFlow Rate: 2.5 Gallons/Minute or 9.5 Liters/minutePro's: Very easy install; all I needed was my channel set pliers; Standard size- I had a Moen (in another bathroom now) that was very similar. All I did was disconnect the Moen shower head from the hose and put on the new head to the existing hose. The old shower head works perfectly fine in the other bathroom (no leaks). Has the 2 water spray settings I use (massage and spray- not sure what the proper names are). LEDs are bright (they are not spotlights or flashlight strength, more like the type you find in outdoor solar lights) and reasonably indicate water temperature (I haven't had a problem yet with it).Con's: The spray selector doesn't smoothly and noticeably click into place like the Moen (but the Moen did cost more that twice as much as this shower head though), but does click and stay in place. Makes a whirring sound when on (there's a small magnet in the head that spins as water goes through it- this is what causes the lights to light up), but the sound of the shower is generally louder.Overall, this was a sound purchase. I'm happy enough with the temperature function, that the other minor details are insignificant to me. While I didn't purchase any of the other shower heads listed, I did read enough complaints about the plastic components breaking and lack of included hose with others listed at a much lower price, that I feel $35 was a very fair price.Lastly, it is rated at 2.5 GPM which does exceed the regulation in CA (which is 2 GPM, but this was sold and shipped to me anyway). My Moen is 2.5 GPM also (which I purchased in NY, and I've noticed only a slight difference in water pressure, and I think it's because the 'spinning magnet' reduces the speed somewhat. I know that my water bill hasn't changed any, so FYI for those who this matters to.Good purchase, it performs its intended purpose very well (where surprisingly, many other products can't perform their primary function well).

Works fine. It's been a month or so. Doing fine so far. But there's an issue...that won't apply to most people.We live in California. There's an horrendous drought here! So several of the settings use just too much water (although they work and feel great). The real issue is, since we are in constant, extreme water saving mode, we tend to turn on the water at a lower rate than is required to power the lights! Oh no!! The LED lights, which are a cute novelty and I really like them, need a minimum water supply to function (that's just physics!). I would probably give 5 stars if it supported a battery power source as well. But in our extreme drought situation, we usually go without the fun LED lights. Oh well. :(Also, I almost deducted a star for the 'pause' mode, where it's supposed to stop...or rather, reduce, the amount of water coming out. It doesn't work (the manual says it's designed to drip...I suspect that's a "CYA" thing b'cuz it doesn't work as well as other multi-mode shower heads with a 'pause' mode). Anyway, the issue is, if you do try to use 'pause', not only doesn't it really do much for saving water, but it makes a horrendous sound, like there's a cat in it that is having its tail stepped on. Augh! What a sound!! But I didn't deduct a star, because honestly, just how hard is it to turn OFF the water entirely, while you soap up and lather up? I've been doing it for years, so...eh!I recommend it. Even on REALLY low water flow, with no LED fun, it's working great for us, and the different modes are as expected. Personally, I LOVE the one where it's some sorta mist, maybe it's the one called rain forest something? It uses very little water, turn up the hot, and just relax into it. So nice!

I have had this DreamSpa All Chrome Water Temperature Controlled Color Changing 5-Setting LED Handheld Shower for the last 5+ years. Children like the color for the water temperature, blue-cold, green-good, red-hot.The showerhead never broke. The water hose (flexible-metal) started leaking and impossible to fix or buy replacement, therefore I buy the whole thing again. The good thing is that the price is low $29, the hose alone in lowes or home depot is almost more expensive. It is super ease to install. We only use one setting, regular shower, it comes with settings for Power Rain, Pulsating Massage, Hydro-Mist, Economy Rain & Water-Saving Pause. I read people complain it fails-leak when moving those settings often, we almost never move, just like a regular shower head, the previous worked perfect 5+ years.

The color changing temperature light works great. It's really cool to see it change. Was very easy to install and no leaks so far. The water pressure is good. However, there is this annoying slight buzzing/squealing sound when the water is on. I don't know why it's doing it, but it drives me insane.UPDATE: 1/24/19 - We've had this shower head for two years now. For the price, I guess it did its job. I would say about a year in, the temperature light stopped working and stayed always on blue. Not really a big deal because the shower head still DID work by spraying water. But we did buy this product partly due to the neat feature of the color changing lights.The most annoying thing however is that a couple of months ago the shower head started randomly making this loud whirring sound for a few minutes at a time. Like imagine a tea kettle whistle. IT'S SO LOUD. It scares the crap out of you when it happens and you just keep showering and praying for it to stop, and it does eventually. I'm going to buy a new shower head because at this point, this product has nothing going for it. Again, $30 for two years of an okay shower head was fine, but I wouldn't buy this again.

I would not recommend this item.This showerhead prohibits relaxation.The light within this showerhead does not require a battery. It is powered by the movement of the water, which is pretty neat. Until your water pressure reduces.When the light is unable to come on, when water pressure reduces, this showerhead emits a sound akin to a whistling kettle and a dial-up modem having an argument.It's dreadful.It was also easy to install.And uninstall.

Have had only 1 month and already the colour sensor is not working properly. Keeps flashing and sometimes does not register any colour at all.

Love it! Especially the mist setting. Not a huge source of illumination, but I use it for telling me when the water is just right, and hot!
