I noticed a few people who reviewed these were using them upside down, so be cautious if that. The white unpainted part is the bottom. I bought both the white and pink for my little dog and they’re so cute. I wanted elevated bowls that were high enough but not too high not too low, these are perfect height for my Yorkie. The only thing is I wish the bowl part itself that the water/food site in was bigger. You can’t fit much before it starts to spill. I’m still very happy with my purchase of these bowls though.I paid for this product with my own money and have never been contacted by the company. I feel it’s important to add this disclaimer to my reviews so you know you’re getting an honest review from an actual purchaser.

My cat had surgery and one thing I didn't plan ahead for was him easily accessing food/water while wearing a plastic e-collar strictly for 3 weeks (PU surgery).Day we picked him up I quickly realized I needed a better solution than the options I tried to mcguyver at home.This tilted bowl works perfectly for dry/wet food, I measured his cone at the widest opening and at his nose level and this bowl was well within range. (for reference he's wearing a 5" deep cone, 7"-10" neck range)Definitely not suitable for water though, if you want an angled bowl that can do both food and water and is very similar size look up "Whisker City® Elevated Ceramic Cat Bowl".For a level (not tilted) bowl I also purchased "LIONWELI Store Small Ceramic Raised Cat Bowl" it's bigger than the tilted and whisker city bowls but still fits inside the limitations of the cone. He can drink from it but I'm less concerned bc I water down his pate so he's getting enough liquid. After the cone comes off will continue to use these bowls cuz they're ceramic and nice quality surprisingly. I believe they're all machine washable, and microwave safe but the ceramic will heat up in the microwave. I don't microwave their food or water but it's good to know. Hopefully this helps someone frantically comparing like I was!Oh also all of the mentioned bowls are pretty sturdy, but I purchased a small roll of grip shelf liner from wmart for a dollar and cut it to place under the bowls to help keep them from sliding, I recommend that just for extra stability

The only negative to this bowl is it's a bit on the small side. Otherwise, these elevated bowls are great for our senior cat....

Great product. Solid material BUT small means small ... Got this for an 8 pound cat and it is in fact, too small ... Should have gone up a size but that's on me. Still love the bowl (and so does the kitty)

My cat eats from it no problem. Males itbeasier to measure their food. I also pour pate and stews in there and it holds just fine. It's also real easy to clean.

The dish works well for its intended use regarding elevating the bowl from which my cat can eat. But the glazed coating of these dishes chips incredibly easily. The dish appears to be made of material similar to earthenware; so it is very fragile and must be treated almost like crystal. Because of this, I think this dish is way overpriced for its quality.

I like all 3 of the raised cat bowls. It elevates so they don’t have to crouch so near the floor. Be careful though because they are very fragile. I barely bumped the pink one against another bowl and it chipped already.

I bought this pedestal bowl for my 17-year-old, arthritic cat who has chronic kidney disease and acid reflux and often vomits. Before buying it, I had elevated his old bowl by about an inch (by setting it on another bowl of the same kind) and noticed that he burped and vomited less often. This bowl, which is a nice, heavy ceramic piece and rather elegant in appearance, has a pedestal that elevates the bottom of the bowl by about 2 1/4 inches. The bowl itself is, as other reviewers have commented, pretty small, but I give my cat only 1/8 can of food at a time because he often doesn't eat, so it's perfect for him. He can eat from it standing up -- no crouching -- and he doesn't have to stretch his neck down to reach the food, so he's not fighting gravity to swallow. He hasn't burped since I introduced him to it, and the vomiting is now minimal even though he still sometimes has nausea (common in cats with ckd; I give him medicine when he's feeling sick). The only issue I have is that the wet food sticks to the glaze, so the bowl must be washed with detergent more than once daily.

The tilt angle of the dish is perfect & I could tell immediately that my cat was more comfortable eating compared to her old flat cat dish. I bought 2 dishes and included a side view pic to make it easier to see the tilted angles than what the Amazon AD shows. I also posted images of the underside.The width is great & helps keep whiskers clear of the dish, which was important in my purchase decision.The underside is wide open (unlike some of the pics I saw in other reviews) which makes clean up super easy. The finish is a nice shiny gloss & just a bit of warm water sitting in the bowl for 3-4 minutes is enough time to lift off all of the dried-on bits of wet food.I’m super happy with my purchase. They are definitely pricey for ceramic, but I’d say they’re worth it & I’d recommend them.
