A Country Christmas: Timeless Regency Collection, Book 5

It's always good to get a collection of previously unpublished stories, and this one has the bonus of a story by Carla Kelly. She has never disappointed me. She is back with the Royal Navy again, and best of all, we are promised the story will continue.

This book was perfect to get into the christmas spirit. The book is made up of three stories:Saint and sinners: 3 stars, it was okay, but nothing extraordinary. I could not really relate to any of the characters.The christmas angle: 2,5 stars, the beginning was quite boring. Nearing the end, the story became better, but it was definitely my least favourite one!The perfect christmas: 4,5 stars, I really enjoyed this one and I loved how an unexpected miscommunication can lead to such a beautiful and heartwarming christmas. This one was more funny and their love story felt more honest than the other stories!I received a free ebook in exchange for a honest review.

These are 3 sweet stories. Each one brings the reader to a time long past.These 3 authors have provided us with characters who find Christmas a perfect time to declare their love. And to share the first feelings of heart felt affection.Ms Moore and Ms Kilpack are new to me authors. Ms Kelly is a favorite of mine.I find that Ms Moore and Ms Kilpack have now become favorites too.It is very hot in June right now and these stories have provided me with the perfect reminder of what lies ahead in December.

All of these stories are so believable of the era - I loved " The Perfect Christmas " by Jennifer Moore - she tells a story of making new traditions to enjoy together but how the people enjoying the love and friendship is really what Christmas tradition is - " A Christmas Angle " by Carla Kelly is a beautiful Christmas story - the characters are well-developed and charming while the story does not feel at all fictional but could be happening in life - " Saints and Sinners " by Josi S Kilpack is a story not of Christmas traditions so much but the characters are outstanding

I liked all three stories, but I must say I bought this book for Carla Kelly’s short story - and she didn’t disappoint. I know she’ll start a series based on the characters of this story and it was lovely to meet them. :)

die drei geschichten sind höchst unterschiedlich, aber alle bezaubernd.vor allem der "christmas angle" hat mein herz erobert - ich hab den folgenden band mit den hauptpersonen schon bestellt und als nächstes auf meiner leseliste (sobald ich den berg rezensionen abgearbeitet hab, der sich während einer krankheitszeit angesammelt hat - lesen ging, schreiben nicht).jede geschichte hat ihren eigenen charme, das gute ist, daß sie so unterschiedlich sind. aber berührend sind sie alle.
