It’s a simple presser foot. Works as described.

It has half and quarter inch measurements

I was using a different clear 1/4” foot. That one had markings on the underside that were wearing off quickly with use.This foot has all the markings and guides painted on the top side. This has prevented any wear on the markings. The right side is 1/4” for easy piecing and the left is only 1/8” which is nice for guiding small piecing. The foot gets wider behind the needle to aid in gripping the fabric. The space around the needle is just wide enough for a narrow zig zag stitch so I no longer have to switch feet to do bar tack stitches to secure elastic.This is hands down my favorite sewing foot and the only time I have to change it is to use my buttonhole foot!

I LOVE the metal foot with the guide. I’ve been sewing for a few years now and no one mentioned this in any tutorials. I stumbled upon it in a blog, thought I’d give it a try, and I’m in lo of ve. I used this foot with the last quilt I just made, my seems line up so much better, look better, I was less frustrated.JUST BUY IT! Do itttttt!

I compared all measurements as listed by the manufacturer. The 1 measurement not mentioned was the diameter of the connecting shaft. That was the problem.
