I have a Chessie, so I can't get enough info ref Chessie's. Chessies are great dogs and I hunt mine, exactly what they were born to do.

About a third of the book is devoted to the dog lineage, but it's really a good read on the shooting at Carroll Island.

We are Chessie owners. Love this book!

Great book to learn about the old days, one of the greatest hunting dog breeds and get to appreciate some old wood decoys.

Not what I was hoping for. A very fact filled book but slow moving
