Ladies Man (The Manwhore Book 3)

I had high hopes for this book. I loved the REAL series (amazing!!) and thought surely the Manwhore series must be just as good. I was so wrong. I'm glad I read REAL first, because if I'd started with this, I'd never have read any other books by Katy Evans.Most of the book, our girl is focused on herself and her personal growth (which happens at a snails pace - blink and you'll miss it). At the end of the book, I wasn't even completely convinced I actually LIKED Gina.The best part: the friendship between Tahoe and Gina. He was definitely there for her, and Katy Evans is very good at showing instead of telling. I think this is a huge reason why her characters feel so authentic and real.The worst parts: Gina's relationship with that loser (I can't even remember his name). Yes, she had a boyfriend who was NOT Tahoe for a large portion of the book.The nail in the coffin: If you've read this book, you have to already know what I'm going to say here. You have to. If you haven't already read this book and are debating, well, read this first. Do yourself a favor. Gina's boyfriend (who is not Tahoe) LOSES HIS CONDOM. IN HER VAGINA. And then, Gina CALLS TAHOE AND TELLS HIM ABOUT IT. And he RUSHES OVER TO HER. WHY KATY EVANS, WHY??? WHY?!!!I'm not exaggerating when I say this was the most unromantic romance ever in the world. When the book was over, because yes, I stuck it out until the bitter end (10 pages of Tahoe and Gina finally together), this is what I was left with. Her boyfriend losing his condom in her freaking vagina, and Gina TELLING TAHOE ABOUT IT after she goes to the hospital and has a doctor fish it out. At this point, they could have overcome world hunger and found a cure for cancer together. All I'm thinking about is that condom.Romance lovers...you have been warned.

Ladies Man is one my favorite books ever and of Katy Evan's. Tahoe Roth is such a gorgeous, sexy, complex character. Whereas Gina is the beautiful, strong, stubborn woman trying to find her way in this complicated world we have. She is very independent and although she has good friends, tends to find herself riding solo not just with her social life but also when to family and relationships. Tahoe and Gina have been dancing around each other for awhile, both of their friends fell in love and got married...their social circles forever intertwined.  They start off as "friends" but start to change and grow into something that both surprises and terrifies them. Did I mention how much I love this book?! Gina and Tahoe have such a wonderful love story. Ladies Man is one of the best slow burning romance books I have ever read. Don't get me wrong, it drove me nuts because I just wanted them to be together already, but these two are definitely worth the wait and angst. Their attraction and need for each other go so much deeper than lust and the love they have for each other is so heartwarming. I seriously love them. I wish Katy had written ten more books about them honestly. Ladies Man is part of the Manwhore series but can be read as a standalone. You don't have to know what's going on in the other Manwhore books but I feel like if you have read the other Manwhore books it makes reading Ladies Man much more special. Again Ladies Man is one of my favorite books ever, it's been two years and I am still obsessed with Tahoe and Gina. I probably will be for the rest of my life and I can guarantee you'll love them too!

I loved it!!!!This read was an all nighter I couldn't put it down.I loved the storyline, the characters, the banter, the chemistry was off the charts!!! There was so much angst and anticipation in this book I found myself holding my breath just waiting for it to happen. The growth between Tahoe and Regina was beautifully written!!It was an emotional read, I found myself wanting to reach through the pages to hug both Tahoe and Regina. The inner demons are felt throughout the story, I felt myself tearing up several times because I could feel the pain the characters held within.My only issue is that I wish we could have gotten some of Tahoe's POV *sigh* I would loved to have been in his head. LOL!!This is a must read!! Can be read as a standalone.

Noteworthy experiences whilst reading this book (best parts, worst parts, quotes etc, personal opinions):When I first read Tahoe and Callan were getting their own books in the Manwhore series I did a little happy dance around my bedroom ~ my husband just doesn't get it!I thought no one could compete with Malcolm Saint, then along stalked Tahoe Roth, with his sexy Texan drawl (Matthew Mcconaughey) and Ragnar (Vikings) good looks. I can't say Tahoe knocked Malcolm off the top spot, more liked joined him and started what's going to be a pretty hot wolf pack of alpha males (just waiting for Callan to join the pack next year).For me this book was sexy as hell, not with sheet clawing, wall slamming, bent over the sofa sex scenes, but with the anticipation and electricity sparking off the pages between Regina and Roth, it got me fanning myself once or twice.Katy captured these 2 characters perfectly, the spark/connection/chemistry between Tahoe and Gina was magnetic. I loved how Katy Evans writes. She does it with the perfect give and take, tug and pull. This is Tahoe and Regina's story. And while it is frusterating at times with how long it takes the to get together properly, it works in every way possible. Both have been hurt before and their relationship takes the full process of acquaintances, friendship, best friends, and then much more. Because katy Evans takes times at each of those stages with Tahoe and Regina you are captivated even more by them and their story.I couldn't put this book down and look forward to the next one in this series.

I'm not going to go into the story or say anything about the storyline coz you will download and read it and don't want to spoil it, what I will say is that Katy Evans never disappoints, I adore this author and all of her works, so if you are aware of katys work then get downloading you won't be disappointed, LOVE IT :)

I loved book 1 and 1.5 in this series and was so Intrigued by what woman would capture Tahoe. And as much as I was cheering them on throughout this book it was also making me want to cry. I understood it but it was so obvious how much you cared for each other! I was continually screaming "get together already".I'd love to read the next book too
