My big Samsonite hard case 3 inch roller wheel disintegrated. The axle is 7.6 mm and the wheel bearings are sized for that axle. I purchased these replacement wheels. Unfortunately, the axle bearing was 6 mm so too small and the new axles weren't long enough. What to do? Searched YouTube and found answer. Remove bearings from existing wheels which are just fine and install them on the new wheels. Since the wheels are flexible, it was very easy to "pop" out the existing bearings and "pop" them into the new wheels. Do a search using "replace skateboard wheel bearings" and you'll be amazed how simple it is to do.

Very easy to install and was the perfect replacement for my roller luggage. The old broken wheels were riveted in and I had to drill out the rivets to remove them. This was a simple task using a battery operated drill.The F-ber replacement kit comes with everything needed for installation including two hex wrenches to tighten the screws on the axle. A few minutes later my suitcase is back to life with new wheels that roll easily and are very quiet.

Smooth rolling and quiet wheels. Finally had to replace the chunked out wheels on my 20 year old Travel Pro roller. These wheels are no longer offered by the manufacturer, so I took a shot on these wheels and could not be happier. They fit perfectly, and roll smooth and silent. Ahhhh....

Like the other reviewer wrote: Hardest thing was removing old broken wheels." The wheels were replace on a High Sierra and are smoother than the original wheels. So glad I bought them.

After buying a different product which came with the wrong size axles, I bought these. They fit perfectly and seem to be of excellent quality so far.
