Effect on skin
I love their entire product line! My bathroom is filled with everything Shea Moisture! This particular product I like for clarifying the skin. Great for oily and acne-prone skin. This doesn't have a fantastic scent like most of their products. It does make up for it in results.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!
Watered down and funny smelling. Was also missing the inner seal it usually has. I was running low on it so I ordered another one from Amazon to save the trip to the store and it is a completely different product. The original product lists Aloe Vera as the first ingredient. This new container lists water and it is SO watery. In the pic, my forehead and one side of my face have the last of my old batch on it, and you can see the one cheek with the new batch looks extremely different. It used to be more like clay, now it’s just watery. This new formula doesn’t smell good and doesn’t have that tingly feeling to tell you it’s working either. No wonder they don’t allow returns- because no one would keep this.

Keeps my skin clear
I use this a few times per week. It really helps to keep my skin clear. I’ve gone without it for a few months and saw a huge difference. This stuff really works. I won’t go without it again.

Super smooth skin from this
This mask makes my skin super soft. It does not list the percentage of salicylic acid, but it is definitely on the higher side, based to other facial peels and masks I have used. This does make my skin red at first, but after 10 minutes the redness calms down. I would recommend this mask for anyone that has a rougher skin texture or lots of small clogged pores. Doesn't seem to do much to help with larger pimples, but it is great to improve skin texture.

good product, terrible seller
the actual product is good but this sellers has horrendous service, slow shipping and haphazard packaging. led to disappointment and and rage. DO NOT buy from them. they should be REMOVED from the amazon storefront

Reasonably priced but inconsistent & very watery
The first container I purchased from Target and it was very thick & muddy (which was great). This second one from Amazon is very watery and nothing like my first purchase. Way too diluted to be a real mud mask. Disappointing
