Definitely works when used correctly. Our problem was with our main living)heavy trafficked areas having a slight foot odor in heavily used areas even after regularly shampooing our carpets 2-3x per year. It's important to note that we have no pets.We mixed odorcide in heavier trafficked areas like stairs, hallway, and bedrooms in a 1:16 per gallon ratio of super hot tap water along with our regular carpet shampoo as by Zep as directed by the manufacturer.With our Bissell Proheat 2x Revolution we saturated all the problem areas on the forward pass 2-3 times and walked it in and let it soak for 10-15minutes. This stuff does smell strong, so there is a no scented version. However, once fully dry, the fresh scent disappears.After the dwell time elaosed we made multiple passes extracting the solution with our Bissell.With high velocity fans on for aprox 12 hrs and our central AC. The carpets fully dried and they had a neutral/no odor.Before using odorcide there was always a light odor, but not this time.We bought the 64 oz version and used half a bottle to clean aprox 4000 Sq ft. The carpets after use were more plush and softer. Overall a win win for the DIYER looking for professional results.

I used this wonderful product to clean a hidden hallway carpet that my puppy thought was her personal bathroom, because she didn't want to go out in the snow. We had to rip it up, throw away the padding, and put new padding down. I made a spray bottle with the product diluted with water and soaked the carpet with it. When it dried, we put new padding down and I put more product in the steam cleaner and ran it over the carpet. It looks and smells brand new again! Thank you odorcide for your awesome fresh scent product! I'm going to keep it in a spray bottle for any and every little carpet stain. Love it!

TOO STRONG! It works for odor BUT then you can't get rid of the PERFUME "fresh scent"!! And DID NOT dissipate in 6 hours or even 12 after my husband washed it down with vinegar :'(I have asthma and CAN NOT BREATH around this product! Causes respiratory distress!

I have used practically every type of enzymatic urine order remover made. They are marketing gimmicks that do not work. Odorcide does! It's what remediation pros use.

I was most pleased using the Odorcide 210 Fresh scent as it almost completely removed the feline urine odors from our carpet. I used an amount smaller than recommended on the bottle. It left a pleasant fresh scent which dissipated as the carpet dried. Am convinced that one more application should remove those residual odors, some which are more than a yr. old. I have used several other products which have not been effective.
