Valentines Day Prefilled Hearts with Valentine Cards Filled with Building Blocks for Valentine Party Favor, Classroom Exchange Prize Supplies, Valentine’s Gifts (Hearts)

These were enjoyed by my child's kindergarten class, which is the goal. The description was a little vague, so I initially thought these did not include a card to write a to and from on, but they did indeed include a cute card, as well as the string to tie the card to the heart.I didn't give this five stars for a couple reasons. One, we had to pay every piece out in order to match the instructions and stickers to the right set. There are numerical codes but they weren't legible on roughly 25% of the pieces, so we ended up going by colors. Second, several of the heart cases cracked when we put them together, and because they are packed tightly they wouldn't stay together with the pieces inside. Since we had a few extra sets this was okay, I sent the cracked hearts to the teacher to use as decorations since they have loops to tie strings to, and she hung them from the ceiling with other decorations. We sent the extra block sets in too, for extra in case other kids wanted one but didn't care about the heart. That also worked out well, the teacher put them in little bags for a special needs group that joins their class during the day. And to a lesser extent, getting everything to fit inside the hearts was tricky. We ended up clipping a corner off so the air could escape, folding the instructions down very small, and squishing the bag into a heart shape before squeezing it into the heart. I think this product could be improved by getting all the pieces and paper in a soft plastic bag instead of the harder plastic with the papers separate. It would also have been nice to include a couple extra tags, since mistakes are made when kids are filling them out. I don't think improving the hearts is a important, because it would likely increase the final cost and negate the value. I'd buy these again, and probably will since the kids like them so much.And yes, these blocks fit the brand they look like they'd fit. We added them to a brand name set and they snapped right together.

As others noted, there is a typo on the yellow cards. Someone else already posted a photo, so I won’t repost. Thankfully, I didn’t need all 24, but if I had, I would have used a sharpie to change the “Someyhing” to SomeThing. Anyways, I don’t mind having to fill them. It’s not hard, and I was able to get everything in each heart. I folded up the instructions in a square and placed it in the bottom, the small sticker sheet on top of that, and then the bag of blocks. (Alternatively, you could open the bag of blocks and pour them into the heart directly, but I didn’t do this because I could foresee blocks going missing when the kiddos opened them). You have to carefully close the heart so it doesn’t crack (my only real complaint other than the typo), but even the ones that did crack had very small cracks on the tip. (Only 3 out of 10 did this.) No shattering, and it still contains everything and isn’t really noticeable. I will note that, as shown in the attached photo, I did place a small piece of tape on each side of the heart - with everything in there, there is no way it will stay closed for long. Love that everything is included, even the string for attaching the card (and of course the instructions, without which, would make a very difficult project for kindergarteners). Overall I would purchase these again. Would have given 5 stars if yellow cards didn’t have a typo.

I got 2 separate orders for my kids, who were super excited to give out building toys for valentines. Quality of the toy itself looks OK. Each dinosaur is individually wrapped and we see an instruction set in each package. The plastic hearts they go into are like plastic easter eggs... a little finicky to put together, especially with the toy stuffed inside. We ended up just taping the tag to the plastic bag and skipping the hearts packaging.My biggest complaint is the random assortment... you aren't guaranteed to get the types. In one box we got 7 different types but in the other box only 4 different types.

We found out at the last minute that my daughter's class was not allowed to send candy with their valentines this year, so bought these as a replacement. Most of the heart were super cute and my daughter loves the building sets and is excited to give them to her classmates. Assembly was easy, and this is a nice set overall.However, three of the hearts were smashed and we only received 23 building sets for 24 valentines. There are 25 kids in the class (including my daughter who is not giving herself a valentine), so we needed all 24 sets to be usable and having 3 damaged hearts and a missing toy was a problem. Due to shipping time, we didn't realize there was an issue until the night before her class party, so there was no time to return, exchange, or buy something else.While the working parts of the set were great, when I am paying over $40 for enough valentines for a class, I expect that I won't have to worry about being shorted. Overall, I am disappointed in this company's quality control.
