Active Ankle T1 Rigid Ankle Brace For Injured Ankle Protection and Sprain Support

This is a wonderful ankle brace; it's a very light, but does a super job. I'm really happy with the support it provides. I tried several others before purchasing this one and I recommend it highly. I bought it to use after I broke my ankle and didn't have to wear the cast or boot anymore. It was just what I needed and fit nicely in my shoes because of the slim profile.

I have a chronic tear ligaments in both ankles but my left ankle gave out on me one day. I stepped right on it in a hole and heard and felt things that made my dizzy. After repeated doctor appointments, wraps, walking boot and then back to a wrap, I wanted something more durable that would give me stability and I came across this ankle brace. Definitely a very comfortable and durable ankle brace! I will be purchasing one for my right ankle! I highly recommend this!

I've worn the Active Ankle T1 for nearly a year. I purchased it after a horrible ankle dislocation I sustained while working in in my yard. As a Maintenance tech my job requires me to be on my feet nearly all day and this ankle support has been terrific. One thing I would suggest is don't be afraid to alter/cut the support padding. It's easily removed and I cut a notch in mine to accommodate the "knuckle" of my ankle. This helped in overall comfort and fit. The Active Ankle T1 has really been great in helping me get back to work and giving me the confidence and stability I needed.

Good support on the ankle, but uncomfortable on the sole of the foot. I have no arch on my feet, and was forced to remove the brace in the middle of a b-ball match.

I love these braces. Easy on and off and allow flexibility as you run but do not allow for ankle twists. I would recommend to anyone - be sure to get the right size.NOTE: I ordered a small and an extra small came. I didn't notice until too late but wondered why the fit was kind of bad. (I'm 6'0 and a size 10. According to the chart I'm a small which I found odd BUT the XS works uncomfortably so I imagine the small would fit. I do have thin ankles.

Not the best in the world, it does stabilize the ankle when correctly strapped in. It rubs on the ankle even with socks, Added cloth to make it a little more comfortable to wear but I wouldn't recommend it. .

I've worn these braces in college and purchased them once again. I've seen people at the highest level wear these. The reason why I prefer the T1's over other product is simply for the double strap. Because you have two straps you are able to tighten this brace to as hard as you are capable of. I've been wearing this coming off of an ankle sprain and it is a lock down brace.I have seen the down side of wearing this. Typically with Active Ankles you will not roll your ankles because of the build. However, I've seen a broken foot because there is no give. It forces the entire foot to keep moving with no ankle give and it can give a bad result. Having said that, that was an extreme case and I would highly recommend this product to those who play high level and especially rec leagues. You never know what kind of reckless blocker/hitter is on the other side of the net. Better to be safe than sit out for 6 months with a broken foot.

The sizing on the website was incorrect - or at least different than when the product arrived. I now have to return it and order the "correct" size.

It provides great stability. The bars dig into your foot at times

I have had one before. Couldn't rememver size...so i ordered according to shoe size. My calves are large....so a small was not big enough...found my old one....it was a medium. So....my suggestion...if you have large calves get the next size up. Excellent support and comfort. I love my active ankle!

Habe mir diese Schiene nach einer Überdehnung und späteren erneuten Zerrung zugelegt und bin sehr zufrieden. Konnte schon wenige Tage nach der Zerrung wieder mit Sport anfangen, da keine Gefahr des Umknickens mehr besteht, aber trotzdem nach einer kurzen Eingewöhnung sportlich alles machbar ist. Super gelöst!
