Profits are a consequence of disciplined practices and The StockTwits Edge is a first step towards better discipline. I whole-heartedly recommend you buy this book as I did. To only pay $40 (as of 6/2011) and to get 46 chapters of different viewpoints is a tremendous value. That's what also makes this book unique, it's not the same author. If you don't like someone's ideas, move on, the next chapter is written by someone else.With this book StockTwits has managed to capture a wealth of information from multiple styles of proven traders. Allow yourself to soak up the back story of each trader's story. For me, that was one of the most valuable pieces; where did that trader come from? What affects their trading style? Any author can tell his/her secrets and "guarantee" you profits. What StockTwits has done here is guaranteed you an edge, and that edge is risk management through mental preparation and planned trade setups.

Lots of set-ups. Some set-up's are not set-up's at all. Interesting reading. Some inspirational quotes. Overall worth a buy since there is someting I am sure all individuals will take away from this book. Different articles written by different people makes it an interesting read.

I pre-ordered this book and was so excited to read it. What a disappointment! There is almost nothing to save from this book. The title is a blatant lie: “The StockTwits Edge”, there is no edge to get from the multiple authors. The sub-title is a blatant lie: “40 Actionable Trade Set-Ups from Real Market Pros”, there is no actionable trade set-up. Worse, some authors are just newbies in the stock market: they use tools that don’t work.This book was made in hurry, by amateurish editors. Sure, you may learn some background stuff from people you follow on StockTwits but how much are you ready to pay for useless content? Not 55 bucks. Not 35 bucks. 5 bucks, maybe.I feel ashamed of having bought this book. Now, I hope my review will help other readers before they make a mistake.

Tremendous resource for traders with different backgrounds and different approaches! Day trading, swing and long-term strategies, long and short, small caps and blue chips, internet sensation and seasoned ex-institutional pros, this book has it all!!! The wealth of knowledge and experience in this one item is incredible.Received my copy last night and haven't stopped reading yet!

I was really looking forward to this book coming out. I preordered it and even got a bit elated when Amazon said it was going to show up 2 days before the original ship date.The book was a very easy read, I think I was finished it in an evening or so. I liked how the book gave a nice back story to each of the traders it showcased. The problem I had was the biography was as long or longer the trade setups. The only real actionable trade setups were from @superbee and @upsidetrader. The rest were less than actionable.If your looking for a book to help you learn a trading style. DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK. If you looking for something fun to read and want to lean bits and pieces of other trading styles well then buy a used copy.Being a professional trader for over 10 years, I found every little "Edge" in owning this book.
