Bought as mothers day gift, oil half full. Thought it had leaked but no signs of leakage or smell in box

I was so astonished to find that the essential oil was half empty! It would be great to have a non-gift-wrap option as the box was very much like a gift,while I only bought it for my own use. But if you are giving it out as a gift and the person only opened to find a half filled bottle of essential oil, that’s gonna be awkward
