I've had intermittent trouble with my shoulders for years. There are different PT devices available where you swing balls on a cord to strengthen the shoulder muscles, but for what they were (literally a handle, a cord, and a few balls) these just seemed crazy expensive. That seems to be the rule for any "medical device". One day after happening upon a discussion forum where people were DIYing their own swinging ball exercise devices using jump ropes like these (search online for information - specific specs are easy to find), I thought I'd give making one a try. I've been using one handle of this jump rope to swing a ball daily for few months now. The rope is highly durable and the fastener ends work great to secure a ball. I started out swinging a light pickle ball (which only weighed about an ounce) and have since moved on to a tennis ball (which weighs about two ounces) and all seems great! I'm very pleased with this product, but do wish the handles were a larger diameter - it would be nice if they were thicker like a broom handle. For my specific purpose the handles of these are pretty skinny, although the textured surface works good and I've never lost grip when swinging yet. I have considered swapping the handle of my DIY shoulder exerciser for a nun-chuck handle, but this does seem to be good quality for the low price, and I'm sure as a jump rope this would be awesome.

Smooth speed rope. It's a little light, and handles a bit skinny, but for the price it's been great. Love the color.

I like how this jump rope looks and it feels well made but I don’t really love using it. The rope is very light and thin which doesn’t feel great, and I’ve occasionally had issues with the way the rope is attached to the handles when it swivels. It might be a good fit for other people, I’m by no means an expert at jump rope.

Didn’t like, but you get what you pay for. I think for kids this is great or beginners. Didn’t work for me for double unders

Das Seil hat kein 360° Lager wie abgebildet. Dafür hat die Lieferung auch nur 3 Wochen gedauert.

The handles are good and spin smoothly. The rope is a bit cheap and flimsy. It’s not aluminum or nylon or leather. It’s this thin rubbery stuff that doesn’t fly through the air evenly. I also imagine (but don’t know for sure) that it would expand or shrink/get brittle depending on temperature.

As described works well for someone starting out skipping for excercise.
