Magnetic Resonance Imaging: Physical and Biological Principles

my teacher from the MRI cross training course recommended the students purchase "MRI in Practice by Westbrook". that book did not help me. it was written in a way more of a quick reference book. i needed a book to build a strong foundation in MRI. since i am studying from scratch i decided to buy a second book (Bushong). the author's explanations are detailed, many illustrations for visual demonstrations. i read the book top to bottom and there are sample tests included at the end of this book. i highly recommend purchasing this book, but layer it with as much case studies you observe during the clinical rotation. the book explains how things work, but the clinical answers how things are done.

This book provides the MRI basics for the beginners, the intermediates and the advanced.The information is a very thoughtful presentation of very technical material.You will need other resources for anatomy/clinical material but this text provides excellent foundation in MRI physics.

The book content is terrific, however the printing of the book is something less than desirable. The ink smudges just by flipping a page.

Best book available about MRI for the novice.

Great study tool and gets a little deep in some areas.

This book isnt that great first of all, and its missing pages from 371-378 and pages 395 to 402, i dont know how amazon can sell a book with missing pages

The seller is great but the book is basic MRI info, for undergraduate student or starting to work in MRI. If you want something for post-graduate studies, much better books available
