RxBra Post Surgical Front Closure Compression Bra

I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled because this bra has been a godsend. I've had 6 breast surgeries since my cancer diagnosis and have tried (what it seems) to be every bra out there.I have finally found one that does not excessively smash the implants against my ribcage, yet still provides compression where it's needed. It has straps that cross in back, taking the pressure (i.e., pain) off my shoulders, and comes down far enough that it doesn't dig under the breasts. I've found it equally comfortable for day and night use.I didn't give it 5 stars for 4 reasons:1. From what I can see, it's only available in black. Given the length of time that bras have to be worn after surgery, esp. mastectomies, it would be nice to have options. I like black, but it doesn't work well under lighter colors.2. There should be longer strips of velcro on the shoulder straps so it can be more securely cinched up. I am on the small side of large and would have liked a little more flexibility with strap length.3. I was under the impression all of these rather high-priced bras came with a mesh bag for washing. The sm/med (which I had to return did). Both of the lg/xls that I purchased did not.4. There are limited size options. Maybe this style is not suited for larger-breasted women for support reasons - that I don't know.Overall, though, a great bra. Highly recommend!

This bra is awesome! I had a mastectomy recently, reconstruction in process, and was in desperate need of a front closure bra with good support for my remaining 40D breast, The first 10 different stretchy bras I tried were terrible--no support, saggy, not enough coverage, etc. Then I tried the RxBra, size L/XL.. BLISS! Lots of support but not snug, good coverage, front closure, COMFORTABLE, and a nice 3 inch band underneath. My highest recommendation.

Very expensive yet poorly made - the top hook and eye fell off before I got it on. Advertised as compression bra for post surgery but had almost no compression. The low cut was nice but the Velcro on the straps caught on clothing. I had reduction surgery and thought this would be a good transition bra as my incisions healed but I will only be wearing it while the other bras I have purchased are washing.

Love this bra. Very comfortable post mastectomy. I do wish the Velcro on the straps wouldn't scratch my skin, but that design could be easily altered so the part of the strap against the skin (that the Velcro section sticks to) is widened, thus acting as a soft barrier.

Wonderful support

This bra is extremely comfortable with great support. Front closure is good for helping with post procedure issues. Definitely a must buy!
