I wanted a knife rack I could just stick to the side of the fridge, so this product worked perfectly. The magnet is strong and adheres well to the fridge and to the knives. One disadvantage is that the magnet appears to be stronger in the center than it is on the outer edges, so when I remove one of my chef’s knives, the entire magnet swings a couple of inches downward. To reduce this effect I need to keep my heavier knives in the center. Sort of a pain but given the cheap price, I can’t really complain too much.

I recently purchased a Misen chef's knife and read that to keep it sharp it must be stored properly. I had been storing knifes together in a drawer. Some people would mount this on a wall. I put the magnet in a kitchen drawer. This magnetic knife holder fit in the drawer perfectly and keeps the knifes separate and easy to retrieve.

This replaced another magnetic knife rack that wasn't magnetic enough. I have about 10 knives put on two of these racks. One knife that has a heavier handle slides down but these racks hold the other knives with ease. The racks were easy to install. A drill, a level, a screwdriver and a pencil are all that are needed beyond what comes in the box. Attach the thin metal back plate to the wall using the anchors and screws and then position the magnetic holder over the back plate and it will snap into place. Don't put your fingers between the bar and the back plate.

Works well for us. I have it sticking on the side of the fridge and without using any Command strips. I discovered that leaving the backing plate (that normally attaches to the wall) off of the magnetic strip that it grips the metal side of the fridge very well. With the backing plate in place it slid around a lot and would have needed more anchors or strips to hold in place. Our fridge is one of those that have a textured finish as well, so we are doubly pleased that the magnet is strong enough to grip. Love the clean look.

I have attached this rack to the side of my fridge with the built-in magnet. The attachment is strong and I have no worries about it falling off. The front magnet strip allows for placement of knives at any position, however I wish it was a bit stronger. My larger, thinner bread knife slides down, so I have to attach it upside down with the handle facing up to keep it in place. Overall a high quality product.

I researched many knife magnets before buying. Im so glad i chose this one. The strength of the magnet was my number one priority for obvious safety reasons. This magnet is extremely strong as described in an online reviews i read. It was extremely simple to mount using the removable mount bracket. All you need is a level and pencil to mark mounting holes. Drill, install anchors, attach the mounting bracket with screws and the knife holder magnet strongly attaches itself to the base. It holds my butchers knife, chef's knife, 5" and 8" santoku knives and couple others very securely, yet knives can be easily leveraged off. I highly recommend this to anyone.

We are very happy with this. Stuck it on the side of our refrigerator. The magnet is very strong. The knives make a positive and seemingly safe attachment easily. My only issue is that I wish it was thicker so that there was more clearance between the knife handle and the side of the fridge. As it is I find it a big awkward to pick up a knife from the holder with my big hands. Still, I'd buy another one if I needed it.

Works well, powerful magnets hold all my important knives, keep them out of the drawer, and without risk of breaking tips or cutting myself digging around for the right one. Delivered in a timely manner with easy to install instructions.Only one small nit pick that keeps this from being a 5 is that the surface does easily scuff and scratch. Not sure there's much that can be done about that... luckily it is not easily noticeable unless you really are looking for it.
