Great seeds!
Curious if all the negative reviews are because people don't know how to grow these from seed. I'm 2 weeks into potting and I'm batting .500 . Still time for more to pop as they can take some time and with growing there are many variables why they didn't sprout. Which I would not attribute to seed quality. You need ~1 month of cold stratification to break them from dormancy. Essentially soak em in a wet paper towel for 24 hours, then take seeds only and place in a freezer bag, and put bag in Fridge for ~30 days. Mine were closer to 6 weeks since I had to rebuild my grow box. I then potted them in small pots and under the light they went. I have an indoor setup with 4 1k watt phlizon grow lights that are set for 16 hours a day. Only have 2 on currently since the small pots all fit under them. Temps are ranging between 50-70 f and I water once a day or so, base on soil dryness. And that's about it. Excited to watch these grow and can't wait to get them outside in the future.

No instructions
No instructions included. Does the seeds have to go through a winter like situation before being planted?

Sad
I received the seeds and followed the directions very easy to follow. Seeds looked great, shape was normal. I was so excited to start growing my trees. Sadly 3 only started to emerge from the seeds with little sprouts. Then turned brown. I didn't get one to erupt through the soil. Disappointed.

Followed all directions
Followed all directions only managed to get 7 out of 20 to germinate. Too early to know if they will grow big enough to transplant in the fall.

worse than questionable
I planted most of the seeds in seeding pots , and the last 5 in small pots. It has been a week and one seed has sprouted. I have seen nothing from the others. I will wait and water them and provide them with light, to see what happens. They were shipped promptly and came in excellent condition and time. I have waited all this time and cared for these pots with seeds and not one of them has sprouted. I will never get from this seller again.

None of the seeds grew
I followed the correct instructions, I stratified the seeds for a month, then planted them, they should only take about 2-3 weeks to pop up but its been a month.... I have successfully grown blue spruce and loblolly pine trees from seed before so I don't know the problem, ive still got the pots so if they do pop up ill update the review, but otherwise I don't suggest buying blue douglas fir seeds from this seller
