I used these clamps to attach clothes line wire with plastic coating to my raspberry berry and blackberry arbors.I needed 24 of them to do the job. I went to a big orange box store and they were 2 for $8.00 or $96.00.These were perfect and did the same thing. You will need a 10mm wrench or socket to tighten.Great deal!

Not available in local stores, these were just what I needed to to tighten the guide wires on my wind generator.

Worked perfect for what I needed

Cheap and flimsy. The U bolts are thinner than what you'd typically find on a 1/4" cable clamp and the threads are sloppy and strip easily. I guess they work, but I'd probably use three of these where two would normally be sufficient, which kind of negates the cost savings.

I use these instead of the quarter inch cramps way faster, and in my opinion way stronger when you double them up for the tension wire.

The description is deceptive. You can force and make them work on 1/4" wire rope, but do not have the body to take tightening. Should have bought the Lowes for $2.08 each.
