Works great for when it’s raining!
The media could not be loaded. Thankful for this little pee pad as my dogs will not go out in the rain!! I have an extra mat that I change out and it’s so easy to rinse off the base and grass mat and then lay out to dry when it’s nice outside!

Got it, laid it down and the dog refuses to use it.
My Yorkshire Terrier flat out refuses to use this. I've showed it to him, he even sat on it (thinking I was telling him to sit), but wont do his business on it even while I'm away at work. I've used the key bathroom/outside words, pointed at it, patted the grassy top, kept saying the words...and months later, nothing.Word of caution, it's not that deep so if your pet does use it, be sure to check it very often and clear a path to the toilet so you can empty the liquid. Seems flimsy if it's got liquids in the bottom of it, so be careful. Also it will smell, obviously, so you will have to hand wash it and replace the fake grass. Your mileage may vary. It's an investment product that way but for you and your pet(s) it may be a good investment. I wouldnt know, months later. :-(

I'm amazed this actually worked
I'm honestly shocked this worked. I live on the top floor and my little guy (a Pomchi) has a hard time waiting in the morning. And with cold winter weather he often won't go. He's about 4 months now but I tried the actual grass that's delivered every couple of weeks when he was 2 months and it was hit and miss for him. However he loved going on the snag area rug (which he ruined) and the similarly textured bathroom mats (also ruined). I resolved to try the actual grass again but while throwing the rug away thought perhaps he would prefer the artificial grass since he loved going on the rug. This unit Is the same price as the actual grass (which is just a piece of overpriced sod) This (with replacement grass) will cost under $100 per year and the real stuff would be $500 to $800 a year, and considering the amount of stuff he's ruined I prayed this would work.At first he played on it but got the hang really quickly after I put some of his urine on it and a couple of pieces of stool. Within a week there were no more accidents! If I had a dog larger than this I don't know if I would want this in my living space but he's so tiny I put it in a conspicuous corner in the bathroom and I barely notice it and he still will go outside when I take him outside which is great.I don't think every dog we take the artificial grass the way he did definitely grateful that he's weird like that.Only real complaints are the grass is a tiny bit cut too small for the tray but that's probably just a fluke and it will washing the grass will come loose rather easily.

Works well for what it is...
I ordered this about 2.5 weeks ago. My dogs did take some time to start using it but I had puppy pads down and after they used one I would rub it on the grass and they caught on fast. Like other reviewers I’ve opted to use puppy pads beneath the grass layer to make clean up easier. My youngest dog is a puppy and did initially try to chew up the grass once she realized it was not stuck down but after saying no firmly a few times she stopped and has gotten over the newness of it and hasn’t chewed it since the first day or two. Now I will say after two weeks of use I walked into my kitchen this morning and almost died from the smell. Unlike other reviewers I did not have a problem cleaning the smell out. What I chose to do was take the grass out and lay it in the bottom of my shower. I turned the shower on cold and let it run on the furthest part of the grass so the water would run through the whole thing then into the drain. I left it like that for maybe 10-15 min with the water running. No cleaning products and now there is no scent. The grass is currently drying. During the last two weeks I have been spraying it with diluted vinegar to keep it from stinking up the house and that may have helped keep it from getting bad. It is worth noting that I have three dogs that only use this when I am at work for long shifts (12 hours) a couple times a week. Will update if anything changes. Also it is much cheaper to look up the brand of grass used in this and order a roll of it from amazon and just cut it down to size yourself rather than paying the same amount for a precut piece!

Life saver
I got this product today and already my 2 month old English Bulldog puppy has already went potty on it twice..yayyy! I didn’t even have to show her where it was at she found it all on her own and went all by herself. This is definitely a life saver for me. No more dealing with accidents, hopefully 🤞🏼. So far she hasn’t all day and has went on the fake grass instead of my carpet. Having a puppy isn’t easy and takes a lot of patience so having this product is definitely going to help matters. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is having issues with their pet around the house. This product makes them think it’s the grass outside and they go on it right away I promise you, you won’t regret buying this product.

The turf is low low quality and really stinks.
I pulled the grass out and right away I can smell a funky odor. I figured it would go away. My dog used it right away. After a couple days of use, the funky odor coupled with the urine and now I'm thinking this thing is garbage. My dog has been using this for two weeks now. It still smells if you're anywhere close to it. It stinks up roughly one side of the room and that is with daily cleaning(with soap). Whats even more ironic is the cheap quality of the turf will not stand up to daily cleaning. The turf is falling apart. I'm guessing the material they used under the turf to bond everything together is causing the odor. Whatever it is its terrible quality and it has a bad odor. The tray is a tray. No complaints. The smell of the turf, brand new, had a bad odor and never left. The abysmal quality of the turf and an ever stinking odor is enough to give this product a one. I've given it a chance and I've had enough. It wasn't worth the money even after I tried to make it worth it.

Grass falling apart during the first hand wash!
The grass came out by the handful during its first hand wash with baby shampoo in my laundry sink. The pan is okay but the grass is awful and not worth the cost. I am returning it. My puppy used this potty with no problems but if the grass comes out like this during it's first wash I can't imagine there would be much grass left by the third washing rendering it useless.

So far so good!
It’s a nice size, seems to be good quality; the grass is quite soft and not too long. There is a smell to the turf but I just left it outside for a day to air out and it seems to be gone now.I will be placing a pee pad under the turf above the tray as the pad is supposed to encourage peeing (it has a scent that supposed to do so) and to make cleanup easier.Haven’t used it with my puppy yet, but it seems like a great solution for me as a nighttime potty on my balcony as I live in an apartment. Will update when puppy arrives!

As advertised
UPDATED Review:Alright, so I threw it out. The weather warmed up and it smelled HORRIBLE. I cleaned it out but there was no saving it. The smell was SO SO SO SO SO SO SO bad. I can still sometimes smell it if I think about it. But, it is my own fault for not cleaning it regularly but also, so gross to clean it. The tray was easy to clean but the grass, just so smelly. It did the job and I'm glad I bought it and for $50 odd dollars, it was worth every penny in the winter month for my condo balcony.---------Not as bad quality as some reviews state. Exactly as advertised. Although, it was a bit smaller than I expected even knowing the size! Wish it came in a larger size than offered for a medium-sized puppy. He's going to grow out of it before he is fully potty-trained which is unfortunate!I use it outside on my balcony and I thought it was pretty light and might fly off on a windy day but it is still on my balcony. It is pretty light so i would not be surprised if it flies off one day.I put a pee pad in between the grass and the plastic tray as some people recommended in these reviews. Haven't needed to clean it out in the week I've had it. I keep it outdoors so cannot attest to the smell. Not sure why you'd want this indoors instead of a regular pee pad.Puppy was reluctant to use it at first (he doesn't know what grass is yet because winters in Canada) but with training and treats, he uses it is now to pee.Overall, perfect for training and for condo/apartment dwellers with puppies who cannot quite make it downstairs!

It's NOT safe for young puppies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not very impressed with the quality at all!! I have to remove the pee-pad from my puppy's pen (this is day two updating this review). It's no longer safe and is a choking hazard. The most disappointing part is that the grass pad hasn't even lasted 2 hours before my little 3 pound puppy was able to pull off multiple pieces and jeopardize the integrity of the edge on one corner. Essentially, there is no protection for the edge and nothing to structurally hold it together. As soon as one strand of grass gets pulled out of place -- the whole pad is in danger of unraveling. This is thoroughly disappointing for the cost of this item. A puppy chews and is curious, that's normal and for a product made for dogs, you'd think it would have more structural integrity. The damage happened even with me being vigilant and proactive about distracting and redirecting her curiosity elsewhere. The grass pad literally fell apart at that corner, plus multiple stands of fiber/string had to be removed as they peeled from the edge easily and were a choking hazard! I also put a pee-pad underneath the grass and plastic nobby tray, because otherwise there would be zero absorbence value, so it's kind of funny that it's an option to rate the absorbency in this review (I knew this before purchasing, and planned to place a pee-pad underneath).

Grass comes off in pieces :(
Was okay for a short while but the grass comes off very easily. Not too good for a puppy who eats everything. Would like to see it more reinforced on the edges to prevent fraying. The piece between the bottom tray and the grass makes it very slippery and the grass part slides off.

Well Made!
My 4.5 month German shepherd immediately liked it and pees on it consistently! Only thing is, he pees so much that we have to empty it every 2-3 days
