I've bought a few taxidermied bugs. This one has a strong moth ball smell to it. It kind of bothers my daughter, who it was gifted to. Still a beautiful specimen. Still would have purchased.

Beautiful winged specimen to enhance any collection
This is a beautiful edition to our “winged” specimen collection. The frame is not what we purchased the item for so it’s not the best quality but it gets the job done, it also did not come with a hook to hang the specimen so one does need to be purchased separately if you want to hang it on the wall. Also the entire item measures more around 5x4 in total. Completely worth the price and honestly the smell was not that bad, expected considering the size of specimen and the preserving needed to keep this creature so vivid and beautiful. Will purchase from this seller again.

it's gorgeous !!! the smell really isn't that bad, + i appreciate the love + effort put into preserving this beauty. it's in great condition, it was packaged well, + all in all i'm really happy with my cicada. however, there is one detail i would like to note: the label is incorrect, this is actually a tosena splendida. that's all !! thank you so much !!!! 🖤

Beautiful but wrong colors
The item I received is beautiful but is NOT the same one pictured above with blue wings which is why I specifically ordered it. Still cool just not what I purchased

AMAAZZINNNGG! Minor chip, no biggie. If I don’t mind, it don’t matter. I’ve been dying to star my collection. Your shop gave me the perfect excuse! My cats did not like their smell at first LOL but after 30 minutes of leaving them to ‘breathe’ they’re perfect! Waiting for some of my other orders from the company and will be posting a picture once I buy little attachments to hang them, NO BIG DEAL! THEIR beauty is sure to attract attention and spark some good conversations
